The past WHERE IT ALL BEGAN ■Motor Sport has been linked with Brooklands since the magazine’s inception in 1924. Indeed at that time it was called The Brooklands Gazette. Even though much of the track has been destroyed over the years, Brooklands goes from strength to strength, recently hosting the popular Double 12 race meeting. And Motor Sport still has close ties with Brooklands, a relationship that has lasted for more than 80 years.
