If the iPhone 4’s not your style... Nokia E72

The sturdy metal casing will fend off even the most forceful of drops, and it packs enough tech on the inside to make the iPhone blush crimson. Also called the Droid in some areas.

HTC Desire Z

Dhs2,500 (approx) If keys are more your thing, but you can’t bare to ditch the iPhone’s gorgeous screen, then HTC’s soon to be launched Desire Z is right up your gadget alley. It packs a 3.5in screen (the same as the iPhone’s) but squeezes a full QWERTY keyboard beneath its slim sides.

Dhs2,570 Its iPhone-aping design won’t win any style awards for originality, but the Galaxy S is one of the most capable Android phones out there. Its huge 4in AMOLED screen gives the iPhone’s Retina display a run for its pixels, along with an impressive 5MP camera capable of stunning HD video.
