GOOD LIVING

Things This STAY-AT-HOME MUM is Grateful for This HOLIDAY SEASON The best (worst) sleep anyone could get and the sleepless nights with both of my sons, but I am really grateful for the midnight snuggles. My eldest outgrowing the phase of pulling hair and poking eyes. However, my youngest enjoys my hair so much and loves to pull it every now and then for fun, especially when I let it down or there is a sparkly clip on. He also loves exploring my face with his tiny little index finger.

My 4-year-old son is starting to express himself verbally, saying “It is not fair”, when I refuse to give him sweets or “Are you kidding me?” when I pretend his police car could fly. The fun moments before and after shower time; both my sons love to run naked and I have to chase them to get them dressed. At least they are having fun! There is something about my boys and running naked, it is like the utmost joy in life. On a more serious note, I am really grateful that they are healthy and happy and that I can be around whenever the need me. It is not always perfect and is very exhausting physically, mentally and financially, but that look in their eyes is worth the sacrifice.
