Camp Directors Jerrett Wilson, RISE, Summer’s End Jerrett Wilson will return as the Director of RISE Camp this year. After his positive experience over the last two summers, he is excited to be a part of another summer at RISE. During the academic year, Jerrett teaches Spanish and French in the Upper School at Moses Brown. He also is an assistant coach for the middle school football team and coaches the middle school A basketball team.

Amy Ostroff, RISE, Assistant Director Amy is a Moses Brown alum (‘02), who has been part of the RISE Lower Camp staff for the past 10 years, and will serve as Assistant Director this year. During the academic year, she teaches third grade at Solomon Schechter Day School of Greater Boston.

Sandrine Dundas, RISE Lower Camp Sandrine is in her ninth year with MB plus, and her seventh year as Lower Camp Director. She brings a unique perspective to the camp as she is the parent of three long-time RISE campers, and has many years of experience as both a camp counselor and a French teacher for early childhood and lower school at Lincoln School.

Christine Moniz, Preschool Christine has been part of our summer camps program since 2003, and has served as the Director of Preschool Camp for nine years. During the school year, she is an assistant special education teacher in Attleboro.

Jorge Sammour-Hasbun, Chess Jorge, former Child World Champion and 2007 and 2008 World Blitz Chess Champion, has been managing the Boston Blitz Team for the USA Chess League since 2009, tutoring chess students nationally for more than 15 years, and is currently teaching the Brown University Chess Team. He brings the joy and magic of chess to all his classes. He leads a staff of enthusiastic instructors in bringing your child the best expertise in which to cultivate thinking and focused life skills.

Leslie Caito-Jones, Field Hockey Leslie is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island where she was a two-year Regional All American, three-year All-Conference Team Member, and spent three years on the A-10 All-Tournament team. She is in her 13th year as the Head Coach at Moses Brown, and has earned a Division II State Championship in 2006, 2007, and 2008, and Division I State Championships in 2012 & 2013. Leslie also serves as the Assistant Director of Lead the Way, Inc.

Mike DeAngelo and Tony Pirruccello-McClellan, Football Mike and Tony have more than 35 years of teaching and coaching experience at the middle school level. They coach football and teach science in the Moses Brown Middle School.

Mike Fraioli, Lacrosse Mike is the Lacrosse Camp Director and head lacrosse coach at Moses Brown which has won two Division 1 State Championships under his leadership. Mike coached for many years at the college level, including Brown University, Hartwick College, and Dartmouth College. Originally from Annapolis, Maryland, Mike attended St. Mary’s College of Maryland where he was captain for their lacrosse program.

Dennis Dobbyn, Lacrosse Goalie Camp Director Dennis is a member of the New England Lacrosse Hall of Fame. Dennis has served as the head coach at La Salle Academy, Roger Williams University, and Moses Brown School. He has recorded more than 250 career victories during his career.

Paul Janaway, Basketball, Soccer, and Track & Field Camp Director Paul is a fully qualified European licensed coach. During the school year, he teaches physical education at Henry Barnard School in Providence. Paul is assisted by experienced coaches through Proactive, Inc.

Reid Feller, Tennis Reid, now in his third year as the Tennis Camp Director, comes to MB with 14 years of coaching experience possessing a depth of experience as a former competitor. He was an All-Stater all four years of high school, a top ranked USTA New England junior, and a Division I Collegiate player at Holy Cross. He is currently the Assistant Tennis Professional at the Agawam Hunt Club in East Providence.

Lee Clasper-Torch Wrestling Director Lee has been coaching in the Moses Brown wrestling program for 24 years—the last ten years as varsity head coach. He is also a faculty member in the MB’s humanities department. During his coaching career, Lee has coached six New England Prep Champions and guided the MB Team to seven Southeastern New England (SENE) championships. Lee has a particular interest in introducing newer, younger athletes to the sport of wrestling.

Our campers hail from a variety of places, with the majority coming from surrounding MB communities in Rhode Island and Southeastern New England. We also have welcomed campers from across the country; in addition to China, France, Guatemala, Italy, Japan, and Korea. 15
