LOT - 124 124 - CONFEDERATE COLLEGE HILL OFFICERS SWORD. 41” Wonderful College Hill Civil War Confederate officer sword, partial etched blade, unstopped fuller, wire wrapped leather grip, brass mounted iron scabbard, nice wear on drag with small break on drag. The brass on scabbard has never been cleaned or polished, and there is some denting at tip. Has the original hangers. The wire braids are intact but loose. Original leather handle covering in excellent. Blade etchings are visible, edge has some minor nicks. Lovely unmolested Confederate sword. 5,000.00 - 7,000.00

LOT - 125 125 - LOT OF 2: TRAINING / DUMMY RIFLES 59” The US military was reluctant to give new recruits actual firing weapons when they first reported, and instead issued these firearm type training models. The first model measures 59” long and is referred to as Fencing Training Dummy, which was used to simulate bayonet fighting. The second is a wood and metal model of the 1903 Springfield with a working bolt. Both date prior to the Second World War and are an interesting part of American military history 200.00 - 400.00

126 - LOT OF 3: EARLY HANDCUFF SETS. All three sets of handcuffs include the original keys. One set is stamped H&R Arms company and retains approximately 60% original nickel plated finish. Another set was manufactured by the Peerless Handcuff Company, are serial numbered 36439 with the engraved presentation “Herman W. Kroening Compliments of Howard W. Russell Ink.” They were patented 1915. The third set are of cast iron retaining traces of original black enamel. They are serial number A8801, but I can find no manufacturing stamp. Fine lot of early handcuffs. 200.00 - 400.00
