Pacific “With Pacific, we picked up the narrative started with Redondo, which tells of sinuous and welcoming shapes. For this collection, I designed deliberately emphasised roundness, able to convey the same warmth as a hug, gently enveloping in the curved backrest. I wanted to recover all the essentiality of design of the 1950s, starting with the docile profile, without corners, and using upholstery that has a very soft touch, thanks to the choice of fabrics with a domestic feeling.”. Pacific “Con Pacific abbiamo ripreso il racconto iniziato con Redondo, che narra di forme sinuose e accoglienti. Per questa collezione ho progettato rotondità volutamente enfatizzate, che trasmettono lo stesso calore di un abbraccio, avvolgendo dolcemente nello schienale curvilineo. Ho voluto recuperare tutta l’essenzialità del designi anni ’50 a cominciare dal profilo docile, senza angoli, e dal rivestimento che presenta una mano molto morbida, grazie alla scelta di tessuti dal feeling domestico”.

« Avec Pacific, nous avons poursuivi l’histoire que nous avons commencée avec Redondo, qui raconte des formes sinueuses et accueillantes. Pour cette collection, j’ai conçu une rondeur délibérément accentuée, qui transmet la même chaleur qu’une étreinte, en enveloppant doucement le dossier incurvé. J’ai voulu retrouver toute l’essentialité du design des années 50, à commencer par le profil docile, sans angles, et la tapisserie au toucher très doux, obtenu grâce au choix de tissus au feeling domestique».

„Mit Pacific haben wir die Geschichte fortgesetzt, die wir mit Redondo begonnen haben und die von geschwungenen und einladenden Formen erzählt. Für diese Kollektion habe ich eine bewusst betonte Rundung entworfen, die die gleiche Wärme vermittelt wie eine Umarmung, die die geschwungene Rückenlehne sanft umhüllt. Mir ging es darum, die Essenz des Designs der 1950er-Jahre wieder aufzugreifen, angefangen bei dem sanften Profil ohne Ecken und dem Bezug, der dank der Auswahl von häuslich anmutenden Stoffen einen sehr weichen Griff hat”.
