Mornington Peninsula Regional Tourism
Mornington Peninsula Regional Tourism Board (MPRTB) works with local tourism businesses to build a sustainable industry through innovation and advocacy. MPRTB is the peak independent tourism board and lead voice from tourism in the region, delivering robust and identifiably beneficial partnerships. MPRTB aims to balance environmental sustainability and destination growth. Established in 2012, the MPRTB is a not-for-profit association governed by a skills-based board supported by staff and industry networks. Our role is to partner with industry and government to grow the capabilities and drive rewarding and lasting economic, environmental and social outcomes for the visitor economy. Our growing partnership base of more than 700 businesses include product and services such as accommodation, tours, marine attractions, wellbeing spas, wineries, cafes, restaurants, farmgate, galleries, breweries and distilleries, golf, retail and adventure activities. We work with domestic and international tourism businesses and business and corporate events. Funds are generated through industry partnerships and grant funding from the Victorian Government. All revenue received is invested back into destination marketing, industry development and research projects. All are designed to ensure an exceptional experience for local, interstate and international visitors to the region.
