Reverend Dr. Bernard Keels 13

Reverend Dr. Bernard “Skip” Keels serves as the Dean of the

University Chapel at Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD

Prior to that, he served as Executive Director of the Methodis

Action Program in Wilmington, DE. From 2001 to 2005, he was the Senior Pastor of The Newark United Methodist Church in Newark, DE. Reverend Keels is a member of The Order of Elders in The Peninsula-Delaware Conference of the United Methodist Church. Prior to his appointment to the Church, he served as Senior Pastor of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Baltimore, MD.

Reverend Keels served for six years as District Superintenden of the Baltimore West District of the Baltimore Washington Conference. Before becoming a District Superintendent, he

served as pastor of the A.P. Shaw United Methodist Church in

Washington, D.C. Other churches Reverend Keels has served are St. Mark’s United Methodist Church and Christ United Methodist Church, both located in Baltimore, MD. Reverend Keels serves as a national trainer for the U.S. Department of Justice Victims of Crime.
