Fair Housing Compliance (completed yearly)

Online Course 2 hours All employees Fair Housing laws prohibit discrimination based on seven federally protected classes: race, color, national origin, religion, sex (gender), disability, and familial status. In this course, you will learn why fair housing is important to our company, our residents, and our business and the steps you can take to make sure you are fair housing compliant.

Yardi Sunday Report Basic

Online Course 10 minutes All employees The Sunday Report provides data on leasing traffic, applications, vacancy, occupancy, and current and future exposure for each property in the company. The report captures this data each day of the leasing week which runs from Monday through Sunday. The report also groups the data by Regional Manager and Area Vice President.

This course covers the following: Definitions of sexual harassment, remedies under the law, types of sexual harassment, sexual harassment examples, and commitment to preventing sexual harassment. It also details promoting a healthy company culture, company policy prohibiting sexual harassment, and the role of Human Resources (HR) in investigating harassment complaints. Additional resources address: "What if I am accused of sexual harassment?" and "Where do I go for help?"

Valuing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace

Online Course 45 minutes All employees This course provides students with a better understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion, and how these ideas affect the workplace. It contains useful information on how to use diversity as a tool to enhance human relations and how to develop greater workplace productivity.

Violence in the Workplace

Human Trafficking Awareness

Security Awareness Fundamentals

Using the Phish Alert Button: Report Suspicious Emails

Online Course 20 minutes All employees In this course, you’ll learn about the Phish Alert Button (PAB), an email plugin that gives your users a safe way to handle actual or potential phishing emails. We introduce you to Sam, your Security Awareness Mentor, as he teaches you how to distinguish between spam, phishing, and spear-phishing emails. Using the PAB will forward any suspicious emails to your organization’s security team for analysis and delete the email from your user’s inbox, preventing future exposure.

Hazard Communication

Online Course 15 minutes All site employees Hazard communication is an essential workplace practice required to keep employees safe on the job. Worker Right to Know mandates your employer to provide you with information regarding the dangers of the hazardous chemicals you work with or risk exposure to in the workplace. Online Course 15 minutes Leasing, Assistant Property Manager, Property Manager For every applicant, you will need to ensure that there are no checkpoint messages, such as identity alerts, that need to be addressed.

Yardi Delinquency Reports

Online Course 15 minutes Leasing, Assistant Property Manager, Property Manager Residents are required to pay rent by the first day of the month. Any resident whose balance is not paid in full after the fifth day of the month will be assessed the appropriate late fees. After late fees are assessed, delinquent rent collection efforts on site will begin. As the status of the Delinquency collection process progresses, the Property Manager must update the Delinquency comments in Yardi on an ongoing basis.

Each week, the Property Manager or Service Manager is responsible for entering notes on the report to explain any items that are past due according to our company policies.
