www.drivenatheart.co.uk The 2013 Nordkapp Challenge – Media & Sponsorship Opportunities The 2013 Nordkapp Challenge in aid of The Marfan Trust offers an array of media and sponsorship opportunities that enable companies to partner with this incredibly personal and meaningful challenge. Over 9,000 people in the UK are currently unaware that they have Marfan Syndrome and a proportion of whom will suffer from a fatal heart condition unless they are identified. “Our aim is to reach out to as many people as possible in the UK in order to connect with the 9,000 unidentified individuals and help them to make contact with The Marfan Trust.”

In conjunction with a substantial PR drive pre, during and post the Challenge to generate local and national press, online and television coverage, there are a number of on-going (offline and online) media channels that are constantly exposing individuals to The Challenge. Furthermore, a commemorative film documentary will be made of the journey, which has already received interest from SKY, Channel 4 and Dave. In addition, the documentary will be turned into a DVD and sold through a multitude of channels (including i-Tunes and Amazon).

The Morgan 3 Wheeler The newest addition to the Morgan range provides a completely unique appeal to any potential sponsor. It’s hard to imagine that it’s aggressive, bullet-shaped, fighterplane looks are closer to the foundations of Morgan than any other car in the line-up. www.drivenatheart.co.uk Involving our sponsors The 2013 Nordkapp Challenge is a truly personal endeavour, inspired by the wonderful story of Lucy Morris (http://www.drivenatheart.co.uk/lucy-morris-my-story/), daughter of Steve Morris, who is Managing Director of The Morgan Motor Company (and one of the drivers on this incredible challenge). As such, we all want to ensure that supporters, sponsors, suppliers and partners feel as much a part of this incredible journey as the drivers do themselves.

Here are some of the key activities that we have planned to ensure that sponsors receive a clear return from their support, whether this is a donation, time or physical products:

Press Shots We have a selection of photographers who will be taking a portfolio of promotional shots, all of which will be forwarded to each sponsor for their own use

Press Release Material We have created several press release packs that can be used within the newsletters, websites, intranets and other internal / external communication mediums to enable sponsors to share their involvement with their staff, clients and other stakeholders In addition, this will substantially help to raise awareness for Marfan Syndrome

DVD Production A broadcast-ready DVD documentary is being made of the trip, which will also include special mentions of each sponsor The DVD will be on permanent sale after the event and will act as a continual source of brand exposure, long after the Challenge is completed

MogMag Special Features Matti Rogers (Editor of MogMag and one of the Nordkapp Challenge Drivers) has pledged a number of editorial features / photos, both pre and post Challenge, which will expose each sponsor to an additional UK audience

YouTube You Tube is a natural fit for Morgan and has currently provided 100's of thousands of viewers with a connection to the iconic British Brand. The Challenge will harness the power of this channel throughout the Challenge, launching a series of videos that will engage viewers with the brand and the purpose of the event.
