No school! just endless Summer days so what better way to celebrate than with an outdoor crafty activity I’m calling ‘Pavement pictures’. All you need is tape, water, chalk and a paintbrush. • Tape a frame onto the pavement • Chalk a pattern inside the frame using different coloured chalk • Dip your paintbrush in water and draw a picture inside your frame like a heart, a star, a smiley face. The water will remove the chalk from your design. • Leave to dry • Remove the tape to reveal your design. • Create lots of pictures along your path or make a hopscotch pattern.
