Welcome to the August issue

The Summer holidays are here! Whilst I’m writing this the weather is a bit hit and miss (more miss) so hopefully it will improve in August.

There is A LOT going on in the town throughout August, and there really is something for everyone.

A production of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz takes place at Theatre Royal from 18th August which really does sound like it’s going to be, well, ‘wonderful’. Find out more on page 5.

The popular Food & Drink Festival is back in Bury St Edmunds Town Centre on 27th & 28th August with food demos, the ‘beach’ and a farmers market – it’s well worth a visit, see page 8.

Colchester Zoo is always a fantastic day out, but even better this year, they are extending their opening hours on certain days, with live music into the evening, so even more value for money, see more on page 9.

And great news! Orissa are extending their up to 50% off your food bill offer when eating in throughout the Summer holidays, see more about the deal on page 41.

We hope you enjoy this issue with lots of info from local businesses, plus all the usual news and events.

Take care & we’ll see you in September.
