POSTCARD CLUB BURY ST EDMUNDS

Our club celebrated its 25th anniversary with a buffet and an exhibition of items from the archives, including photos, documents, and newspaper cuttings, covering the inaugural meeting through to the present day. Each member received a booklet, special bookmark, and commemorative postcard. A lunchtime meal was also enjoyed at a local hostelry.

Eighteen people attended the inaugural meeting on Tuesday 23rd June 1998, three of whom are still members. The club has grown considerably since that time and several members have been with us for over twenty years. We are now the only postcard club in East Anglia and have members not only from the Bury St Edmunds area, but also regular travellers from much further afield.

NEWSFLASH:

The popular annual Bury St Edmunds Postcard Fair, which started in 2000 and ceased in 2019, returns (with 25+ dealers) on Saturday 9th September 2023 at the County High School, Beetons Way, Bury St Edmunds.
