challenge was to design a bus station and a pedestrian underpass that incorporate public functions .

project takes place in the rural village of

offers much needed services in a small mountain community .

intervention also includes an information point for tourists and bikers , public restrooms and mailboxes .

structure is a large terrace , which is a surprise in a mountainous island .
