Have your EagleCard photo taken. The EagleCard ID is your official MSU photo identification and financial key to MSU’s cashless society. You are required to carry your EagleCard at all times. For more information, contact: EagleCard Office
Review banking information from U.S. Bank. U.S. Bank is MSU’s student banking partner and can be linked to your EagleCard. Save time at SOAR by completing your U.S. Bank application in advance. For more information, contact: EagleCard Office
Complete your Health History Form If you have not already returned your Health History Form, bring your completed form to your SOAR program and return it to the Counseling and Health Services display table. Students under the age of 18 must have the completed form signed by a parent/guardian.
After attending SOAR, you should feel more comfortable with your knowledge of MSU and you should have: Met with representatives from Student Housing, Financial Aid, Dining Services, and Accounting and Financial Services Learned more about online services and how to access your student information Met with an academic advisor and planned your fall course schedule Registered for classes

If you will have a vehicle on campus in the fall, register your vehicle. A valid MSU parking permit must be displayed on vehicles parked on property owned or controlled by MSU. Enforcement of parking permit requirements begins on the first day of classes of each term. To purchase a parking permit at SOAR, you will need to know your license plate number, make, model, and year of your vehicle. Parking permits are $120 per year for zones AH, AZ, C, E and S. Parking permits are $60 per year for the Overflow Lot – Zone O. Cash, check, or major credit cards are accepted for payment. For more information, contact: Police Department
Make overnight accommodations, if needed SOAR programs are one-day programs and do not require an overnight stay. If, however, you have to travel a long distance, you may choose to stay overnight. Visit the FAQs section at www.moreheadstate.edu/soar for a list of area hotels.

Attend New Student Days Make plans to attend all events during New Student Days. New Student Days is a three-day orientation program for new students held the weekend before classes begin in August. Activities include educational and entertaining programming. The goal of New Student Days is to help you become more familiar and comfortable with MSU.
