Stephen Kahn writes: I received my Master of Health Administration degree from Tulane University in New Orleans in 2014 and was commissioned into the Navy Medical Service Corps in November of that year. I will be marrying Leah Heher of Santa Cruz, CA, in September 2016. Kelly Grab MS has accepted a policy specialist position with the Texas Association of School Boards and will be working specifically with community colleges. Caitlin Worrich married Stephen Heckman on October 3, 2015, at Central Moravian Church. The service included a lovefeast. Anne Hoffman Mills and Allison Shelly were in the bridal party. Caitlin and her husband recently bought a home and are living in Allentown, PA. Jackie Held was awarded the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine on June 5, 2016. Jackie will be continuing her medical training in pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Medicine in Detroit. John Jordan was awarded the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine on June 5, 2016. John is continuing his medical training in combined emergency medicine/internal medicine at Aria Health Network in Philadelphia. Timothy Layng was awarded the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, VA, and has begun his residency in emergency medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System in Richmond, VA.

Kyle Stackhouse writes: On November 27, 2015, in Montreal, I became engaged to Elizabeth Briggs of Bethlehem. We were engaged in Montreal. A wedding is being planned for the end of summer 2016 after I return home from my basic training in the US Navy Reserve. Michael O’Gorman recently accepted a position with the hedge fund Bridgewater Associates based outside of New York City.

Rick Eberts ‘73 represented Moravian College at the inauguration of Jonathan Peri as president of Manor College in Jenkintown, PA. “It was a day I will not forget,” says Eberts. “When they called everyone to line up for the processional, the first name they called was Moravian College because we were the oldest college represented. That meant a lot to me. It was a great day to be a Moravian College alumnus.”

Medicine In Boston, 26-year-old Richard Herrick receives a kidney from his twin brother, Ronald, in the first successful kidney transplant. The surgery adds eight years to Richard’s life. One of his surgeons, John Murray, is later awarded the Nobel Prize.
