Raymond Reimer is vice president and chief actuary in the business insurance unit at Traveler’s Insurance in Hartford, Connecticut. He is a two-time inductee in the Moravian College Athletic Hall of Fame. Reimer lives in Berlin, Connecticut, with his wife, Diana, and their 17-year-old triplets, Jared, Vanessa, and Grace.
Looking back: “My experience at Moravian was fantastic. I made many great friends and had many learning experiences, which formed the foundation for my career and personal success post-graduation. I was very appreciative and humbled to be inducted into the Moravian Athletic Hall of Fame as a member of the 1988 football team (the best ever in Moravian history!) and as an individual player in 2013. The personal induction in 2013 was a very proud moment for me and an opportunity to recognize all of the people who played a big part in my college career, on and off the field, including my parents, Ray and Veronica Reimer.” Paying it forward: Reimer just completed a four-year term as a member of the Moravian Leadership Council. He is a consistent donor at the Comenius Society level, and he participates on career panel discussions and in many one-on-one conversations with students to provide career advice and industry perspectives. “I have surpassed most of the business and personal career goals that I had coming out of Moravian College. The support I received during my time at Moravian was invaluable, and it is important to me to give so that others can have their own valuable experiences and achieve their goals. I am very proud to have made a donation every year since my graduation, and feel fortunate to have participated in the Leadership Council. It has been a fantastic way to reconnect with the school, to provide guidance and support where I can, and to be part of the latest developments.”
