Splashball Art Party

Lamorinda Water Polo Staff Age 5–9 Designed for boys and girls, ages 5 to 9 years old, with little or no water polo experience. The players will learn the basics of the game while having loads of fun. Splashball is a no-contact program held in a shallow pool and floatation devices are allowed. Students should have basic swim skills: 25 yards free, 25 yards backstroke, 30 seconds tread water. Location: Soda Aquatic Center

Basketball Technique & Teamwork

Skyhawks Sports Academy Staff Age 7–11 This program was designed to teach young athletes the fundamentals of basketball through play. Each week, participants will be broken into teams to compete in a series of skill-based games that focus developing their skills, confidence, and passion for the game. Our primary development objectives include dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, strategy, agility, self-esteem, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Skyhawks coaches provide a positive environment where players of all ages and abilities can participate in friendly competition with lots of encouragement and a big focus on fun! Virtual Driver’s Ed

Bay Area Driving School Age 15.5+ This is a virtual Driver’s Education with a live instructor. Students will enjoy a series of Driver’s Education lectures including understanding the responsibilities of having a driver’s license, learning the rules of the road and accident-avoidance procedures. Independent assignments will also be completed during the week. Course also includes practice questions, defensive driving movies and written test prep. Upon successful completion, students will receive a certificate of completion. Option to take full course online at your own pace available for $43. Skyhawks Sports Academy Staff Age 3–5 Hoopster Tots was designed to give children a positive first step to the exciting game of Basketball. Using our progressional curriculum and modified equipment, participants learn Basketball fundamentals and social skills through a series of fast-paced instructional circuits and developmental games. Our primary development objectives include dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding, balance, body movement, hand/eye coordination, self-esteem, teamwork, and sportsmanship!
