Town Aft er-School Enrichment Programs (TOWN ASEP)

Bricks for Kidz: World Engineering with LEGO®

TOWN ASEP is returning for the 2021–2022 school year! These aft erschool enrichment programs will be available to students from all Moraga elementary schools and those in homeschool programs. Classes will take place at the Hacienda de las Flores located at 2100 Donald Drive unless otherwise noted. RHEEM BUS PASSES—If your child attends Rheem Elementary School, bus service will be available. The Lamorinda School Bus program will be adding an additional bus stop at the Hacienda. Children with an annual bus pass will be able to use this service free of charge. Bus passes can be purchased for $50 for the session for the selected day of the week through the recreation department. EXTENDED CARE PROGRAM—The Town will provide an optional extended care program for families in need of childcare until 5:30pm each day. Extended care will be provided onsite at the Hacienda following dismissal from TOWN ASEP classes. Join us for homework time and fun! The cost of extended care is $50 for Monday, Tuesday or Thursday and $90 on Wednesday. The extended care fee covers the full session for the selected day of the week.

Annette Gojkovich Grades K–5 Students will be immersed in Spanish while being introduced to common phrases. We’ll focus on proper pronunciation while learning the Spanish alphabet and phonics, as well as colors, days of the week, months, numbers and much more through games, songs and fun worksheets. Bricks for Kidz Staff Grades K–5 See how the world around us works and looks through the eyes of LEGO®. From animals and energy to construction equipment, race cars and space travel, we’ll explore our world by learning about and building some of the engineering marvels that we encounter every day. Each motorized lesson introduces key terminology related to each build as well as reinforces the S.T.E.M. and CORE concepts. So come build with us! Location: La Sala
