How do you determine what your clients want?
“In every case—no matter the problem—we always ask our clients what they want to happen and when. We then map out a step-by-step strategy to get them to their desired outcome. As each step of the plan is completed, we circle back to the original plan to confirm that we are on track and that we have accomplished the tasks in a timely, efficient matter. Each of the attorneys in our firm is approachable, and our clients feel comfortable in communicating their desired results and their concerns along the way. Our clients find that we are a valued resource to them—not only with our legal advice but also with our deep-rooted connection to our community and other trusted advisors and professionals.”
How can clients protect themselves and their families?
“It is so important to reach out to an attorney for legal advice as soon as possible upon discovering a new problem or opportunity. We tell our clients to ALWAYS call us first. “I am proud to say that I have appeared in defense of individuals and businesses in virtually every courthouse in Southern California. I spent the first 10 years of my career defending businesses that were being sued on many different theories. Then I transi-

“We work with family-owned businesses to develop legal structures that facilitate manageable day-to-day operations and implement succession strategies that allow the business to continue to thrive and grow as it passes from one generation to the next. We work with professionals to provide a range of legal services that serve their needs. In some instances, we also work with new business owners considering the purchase of an existing business or franchise. Our clients desire to do things the right way legally to ensure that their families and personal assets are adequately protected.”
What are the most common problems that you run across when working with clients?
“Today it is increasingly challenging to run a business in California, with the ever-changing landscape of regulations that impact the day-to-day operations of a business. We have recently seen an increase in the number of business clients that are not keeping up with employment laws that affect their businesses. We help California employers work with their employees in a cooperative environment while protecting their business from employment-related claims and lawsuits.”
