บทบรรณาธิการ นิตยสารราชมงคลลานนา ฉบับที่ 12 เสนทางสูค วามสําเร็จบัณฑิต ราชมงคลลานนา เปนการรวบรวมผลงานเดนของอาจารยและนักศึกษาที่ได เปนตัวแทนมหาวิทยาลัยไปแสดงศักยภาพ แสดงความสามารถ จนสามารถ แสดงผลงานออกมาได อ ย า งเป น ที่ ป ระจั ก ษ ส ามารถสร า งชื่ อ เสี ย งให แ ก มหาวิทยาลัยมาอยางตอเนื่อง ฉบับนีเ้ ราไดนาํ เสนอผลงานสรางชือ่ ของนักศึกษาตลอดระยะเวลาที่ ผานมา ไมวาจะเปน นักศึกษารางวัลพระราชทานทั้ง 3 คนของมหาวิทยาลัย รางวัลถวยพระราชทานสมเด็จพระกนิษฐาธิราชเจา กรมสมเด็จพระเทพ รัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี โครงการกลาใหมรูปที่ 8 “ขาวสาม สุข” รางวัลถวยพระราชทาน การแขงขันเรือยาว ทีมแมปอมเอ รางวัลถวย ประทานพระเจาวรวงคเธอพระองคเจาโสมสวลี พระวรราชา ทินัดดามาตุ รางวัลชนะเลิศสาขาการศึกษา การประกวดโครงการกระทิงแดงยูโปรเจค ป 2 ประจําป 2558 ทีมวอลเลยบอลชายราชมงคลลานนา พิษณุโลก แชมป กีฬามหาวิทยาลัยแหงประเทศไทย และรางวัล ASIA STAR Awards อยางตอ เนื่อง มากวา 10 ป นิตยสารฉบับนี้จะพาไปยอนถึงความสําเร็จของนักศึกษา วาพวกเขาตองพยายามฝาฟนปญหา อุปสรรคอะไรมาบาง ผานบทสัมภาษณ ของบุคคลตนเรื่องทั้งหมดนี้เพื่อเปนแรงบันดาลใจใหนองๆนักศึกษารุนตอไป

นักศึกษารางวัลพระราชทาน ราชมงคลลานนา

นักศึกษา รางวัลพระราชทาน

รางวัลพระราชทานแกนกั เรียน นักศึกษาและสถานศึกษา เกิดจากนํา้ พระทัยอัน เปยมดวยพระเมตตา โดยสนองพระราชปรารภ ของพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจาอยูหัว รัชกาลที่ 9 ที่ทรงมีกระแสรับสั่งแกรัฐมนตรีวาการกระทรวงศึกษาธิการ (ม.ล.ปน มาลากุล) เมื่อป พ.ศ.2506 ในการพิจารณาจัดรางวัลใหแกนักเรียนซึ่งเรียนดี ประพฤติดี และโรงเรียนที่จัดการศึกษาดี กระทรวงศึกษาธิการสํานึกในพระมหา กรุณาคุณเปนลนเกลาฯ จึงไดดําเนินการสนองพระราชปรารภและไดวางระเบียบ วาดวยรางวัลพระราชทานแกนักเรียน นักศึกษาและสถานศึกษาเพื่อถือปฏิบัตินับ ตั้งแตป พ.ศ.2507 เปนตนมา โดยแบงรางวัลออกเปน รางวัลพระราชทานที่จัดสรร ใหสถาบันอุดมศึกษา รางวัลพระราชทานสําหรับนักศึกษาและนักศึกษาพิการ ซึง่ จะ ตองมีคุณสมบัติดังนี้ เปนนักศึกษาที่ศึกษาอยูในระดับอนุปริญญาหรือปริญญาตรี และศึกษาเปนระยะเวลาไมนอยกวา 1 ป มีผลการเรียนเฉลี่ยสะสมไมตํากวา 2.75 ในปที่ผานยกเวนนักศึกษาพิการจะตองมีผลการเรียนเฉลี่ยสะสมไมตํากวา 2.50 ใน ปการศึกษาที่ผานมา และตองมีคุณลักษณะพื้นฐาน 5 ดาน การประเมินนักศึกษา เพื่อรับรางวัลพระราชทานระดับอุดมศึกษา ไดแก การศึกษาเลาเรียน การมีทักษะ ในการจัดการและการทํางาน สุขภาพอนามัย ความประพฤติ คุณธรรม จริยธรรม การอนุรกั ษศลิ ปวัฒนธรรมและสิง่ แวดลอม การประเมินกิจกรรมและผลงานเดนของ นักศึกษาไดแก ความมีประโยชนตอ สวนรวม ความมีคณ ุ ภาพเปนทีย่ อมรับตอสังคม และความมีคณ ุ ธรรมดีงามหรือสรางสรรค ตอเนือ่ งในการทํากิจกรรมและความโดด เดนของผลงาน มทร.ลานนา เปนสถานศึกษาที่มีนักศึกษารางวัลพระราชทาน มาแลว 3คน ไดแก ในป พ.ศ. 2544 นศ.ชุติมา สุวรรณรัตน นักศึกษาสาขาการบัญชี คณะ บริหารธุรกิจและศิลปศาสตร (ในขณะนั้น) อดีต นายกสโมสรนักศึกษา ในป พ.ศ.

2556 นายอานุภาพ มีชะคะ สาขาวิศวกรรมไฟฟา คณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร (ในขณะ นั้น) อดีต นายกสโมสรนักศึกษา และในป 2558 นายพรหมพัฒน โชติสิรดานันท นักศึกษาสาขาทัศนศิลป คณะศิลปกรรมและสถาปตยกรรมศาสตร ไดรับรางวัล นักศึกษารางวัลพระราชทาน นักศึกษาพิการประเภทความพิการทางรางกาย วั น นี้ เราขอแนะนํ า บั ณ ฑิ ต คนเก ง เจ า ของรางวั ล นั ก ศึ ก ษารางวั ล พระราชทาน ทั้ง 3 คน เพื่อเปนตนแบบและเปนแรงบันดาลใจใหนักศึกษาที่มีความ ฝนเหมือนรุนพี่ทั้ง 3 คน

นางสาวชุติมา สุวรรณรัตน ปจจุบัน อายุ 38 ป ไดรับรางวัลนักศึกษารางวัล พระราชทานเมื่อป พ.ศ. 2545 • จบการศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี บริหารธุรกิจบัณฑิต การบัญชี ปการศึกษา 2546) สถาบันเทคโนโลยีราชมงคล วิทยาเขตภาคพายัพ (ในขณะนั้น) • จบการศึกษาระดับปริญญาโท บริหารธุรกิจมหา บัณฑิต (MBA) การเงิน มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร • ไดรับผูสอบบัญชีรับอนุญาต เลขทะเบียน 8457 • ปจจุบัน ตําแหนง รองกรรมการผูจัดการ สาย งานบัญชีและการเงินทํางาน บริษัท พรีเมียรโพรดักส จํากัด (มหาชน) Q: พี่รูจักรางวัลนักศึกษารางวัลพระราชทานไดอยางไร A: ตอนสมัยทีพ่ เี่ รียน ขอมูลขาวสารก็ไมไดเขาถึงไดงา ยหรือแพร หลายเหมือนสมัยนี้ ที่พี่รูจักรางวัลนี้ก็จากอาจารย หรือจากพี่ๆ เจาหนาทีใ่ นกองกิจการนักศึกษาในสมัย ดวยความทีท่ าํ งานใกล ชิดกัน มีอะไรดีๆ ก็จะไดรับคําแนะนําอยูเสมออยูแลว Q: แลวทําอยางไรถึงไดรางวัลนี้ มีเกณฑการพิจารณาอยางไร บาง A: สําหรับเกณฑในการพิจารณานัน้ เทาทีพ่ จี่ าํ ได (ซึง่ ก็คอ นขาง นานมาแลว ประมาณป 2545) ก็จะตองมีการสงประวัติ และ ก็ทําเหมือนเปน Portfolio ผลงานวาที่ผานมาเราทําอะไรบาง และจากนัน้ ก็จะคณะกรรมการมาสัมภาษณทมี่ หาวิทยาลัย ซึง่ ตอนนั้นก็จะเปนการประกวดนักศึกษารางวัลพระราชทานใน กลุมสถาบันอุดมศึกษากลุมภาคเหนือซึ่งตั้งแตขั้นตอนการทํา Portfolio ในสมัยนัน้ ก็จะเปนลักษณะเหมือนเปนภาพประกอบ กิจกรรมทีท่ าํ มา ซึง่ ยังเปนภาพถายฟลม อยูเ ลยคะ ก็กบั เพือ่ นๆ กับอาจารยพีระ จูนอยสุวรรณ มาชวยกันทําลําดับเปนรูปเลม เพื่อประกอบการนําเสนอ แตสําหรับสิ่งสําคัญพี่วานาจะเปน เรื่องเนื้อหาในการนําเสนอมากกวาซึ่งเนื้อหาภายในเลมพี่ก็ได เลาตัง้ แตเริม่ เขามาเรียน และมีการทํากิจกรรมเวลาวางระหวาง เรียน ในปหนึ่งที่เขามา พี่ก็เขารวมในแตละกิจกรรมที่ทาง มหาวิทยาลัยจัด ในฐานะผูตาม คือ ณ ตอนนั้นก็ไมไดคิดหรอก วาเราจะตองไปเปนผูนําแบบที่รุนพี่เคาทํา แครูสึกวาสิ่งที่คน กลุม หนึง่ ตัง้ ใจจะทําให (หมายถึงทีมงานทีท่ าํ กิจกรรมนักศึกษา) เราก็ควรจะใหความใสใจ ใหความสําคัญ อยาใหเคาตองเหนือ่ ย เสียปลาว พี่ก็ไปลองทําหมดะ ตั้งแตชมรม แบดมินตัน วิทยุ สือ่ สาร เปตอง จนมีการแขงขันกีฬาก็ไดไปแขง แพบา ง ชนะบาง

ก็ทําใหไดรูจักเพื่อนๆ หลากหลายคณะมากขึ้น จากนั้นถึงไดมีเพื่อนก็แนะนําวา ใหลองมาสมัครเปนนายกสโมสรนักศึกษาดู ก็เลยไดมโี อกาสเขามาทํางานสโมสร เปนนายกสโมสรนักศึกษาตอนป 2544 ซึง่ จากวันนัน้ ชีวติ ก็ไดเปลีย่ นไปเยอะมาก ไดประสบการณหลากหลายมากมายสั่งสม มาจนถึงทุกวันนี้ “สําหรับพี่เองตอใหเรื่องกิจกรรมจะมีเขามาเยอะแคไหน พี่ก็ไมลืมและไมเคย ทิ้งเปาหมายสําคัญคือการเรียน ผลการเรียนพี่ตองไมลดลง ตอใหในวันที่ ตองลาเรียนไปทํากิจกรรมพี่ก็ตองเรงอานหนังสือเองใหทันที่เพื่อนๆ เรียนไป แลว การบานพี่ก็ตองทําสงตามปกติโดยไมไดสิทธิพิเศษอะไร นอกจากเรียน ในหองเรียนแลวพี่ก็ยังไปหาเรียนเสริม ภาษาอังกฤษตางๆ หลังเลิกเรียนบาง พี่ทํางาน ฝกงานตอนปดเทอม (กอนที่มีการฝกงานตามหลักสูตร) ใหตรงสาย วิชาชีพเพื่อจะไดรูและเขาใจอยางแทจริงก็คืองานบัญชี พี่ไมเคยทิ้งเรื่องการ เรียนเลย ก็ทําคูขนานกันไป ทั้งการเรียนและก็กิจกรรม เพราะสําหรับพี่จะไม ยอมใหใครมาวาได วาทํากิจกรรมจนเสียการเรียน” แตทั้งหมดที่ทํามา พี่ไมไดทําเพื่อมุงหวัง ที่จะไดรับรางวัล คือไมไดสราง profile มาเพื่อใหไดรางวัลนี้ ซึ่งรางวัลนี้ พี่เรียกวา เปน”รางวัล” จริงๆ คะ เพราะไมไดคาดหวัง เปนรางวัลที่ไดมาตอนทายที่ไดทํามาแลวทั้งหมดที่เลามา แตในระหวางทางนั้นพี่ไดทั้งประสบการณ ไดทั้งเพื่อน ไดเรียน ไดรู การใชชีวิต มาตลอดเสนทางอยูแลว เรียกวารางวัลพระราชทานนี้เปนรางวัลใหกับพอ แม กับครูอาจารย วาคนทีท่ า นเลีย้ งและทีพ่ ราํ สอนมานัน้ ไมทาํ ใหทา นผิดหวัง ตอนที่ ไดเขาไปรับรางวัลพระราชทาน คนทีด่ ใี จยิง่ กวาตัวเรา ก็คอื พอแมและครูอาจารย ของเรานี่เอง Q: อยากใหพอี่ อ แนะนํานองๆทีม่ คี วามฝนอยากไดรางวัลนีบ้ า งและฝากขอคิด ถึงนองวัยเรียนที่มีพี่ออเปนตนแบบของความสําเร็จ A : กอนอื่นตองขอขอบคุณนองๆที่คิดวาพี่เปนตนแบบของความสําเร็จ แตเราก็ ตองไมหลงชื่นชมกับความสําเร็จที่ผานมา โดยหลงลืมที่จะพัฒนาตนเองไปอยาง ตอเนื่องคะ สําหรับเรื่องการไดรับรางวัลนั้น พี่คิดวาในยุคสมัยที่เปลี่ยนไปปจจัย แวดลอมก็คงไมเหมือนเดิม แตพี่วาสิ่งหนึ่งที่จะไมเปลี่ยนไป ก็คือเจตนาที่เราจะ ทําสิ่งที่ดีตอออกไป เพราะเมื่อเราทําสิ่งที่ดีและสิ่งที่เปนประโยชนออกไปแลว สิ่ง เหลานัน้ มันก็จะสะทอนกลับมาหาเราเอง เพราะเราก็เปนผูท อี่ ยูใ นระบบนิเวศนัน้ ที่เราเปนคนรวมสราง นิตยสาร ราชมงคลล้านนา 7

• สําเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี สาขาวิศวกรรมไฟฟา คณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร • สําเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาโท ภาควิชาวิศวกรรมไฟฟา คณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกลาธนบุรี • ปจจุบันเปน วิศวกรออกแบบระบบไฟฟา ใหกับบริษัท ตางชาติ และเปนตัวแทนประเทศไทยเขารวมการประชุมในระดับ นานาชาติ ภายใตหัวขอสิทธิมนุษยชน สันติภาพ และภัยพิบัติ Q: อยากใหกุกเลาที่มาที่ไปของการไดรับรางวัลนักศึกษารางวัล พระราชทานซึ่งถือวาเปนผูที่ไดรับมาถึง 2 ครั้ง วาเสนทางสายนี้ มีที่มาอยางไร A : “ ผมไดรจู กั กับรางวัล นักศึกษารางวัลพระราชทานตัง้ แตป 2552 ตอนยังศึกษาอยู ณวิทยาลัยสารพัดชางตาก (วิทยาลัยเทคนิคตาก ใน ปจจุบนั ) ครัง้ นัน้ ไดรบั การชวยเหลือชีแ้ นะ จากอาจารยพงษศกั ดิ์ บุญ ภักดี อยางดีมาตลอด จนไดรับรางวัล นักศึกษารางวัลพระราชทาน ประจําปการศึกษา 2552 ในการเขาเฝารับรางวัลพระราชทานนัน้ ทาง กระทรวงศึกษาธิการ และสํานักงานราชเลขาธิการ ไดอนุญาตใหพาผู ติดตามเขารวมพิธไี ด 1 คน ครัง้ นัน้ ผมไดพา แมเขาเฝาสมเด็จพระเทพ รัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี ณ ศาลาดุสิดาลัย สวนจิตรลดา พระราชวังดุสิต ซึ่งครั้งนั้นผมรูสึกตื้นตันและภาคภูมิใจอยางมาก เพราะไมไดเพียงแตพระมหากรุณาธิคณ ุ ทีไ่ ดรบั รางวัลฯ แตเปนความ 8 นิตยสาร ราชมงคลล้านนา

ภูมิใจที่ไดพาผูใหกําเนิดเขารวมพิธีที่เปนเกียรติแหงวงคตระกูลอยางหา ที่สุดมิได หลังจากที่ไดรับรางวัลนักศึกษารางวัลพระราชทาน ประจํา ปการศึกษา 2552 แลวผมไดเดินทางมาศึกษาตอ (โควตาจริยธรรม) ณ คณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร สาขาวิศวกรรมไฟฟา 4 ป มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยี ราชมงคลลานนา ภาคพายัพ เชียงใหม ในชวงปแรกในใจผมคิดทีจ่ ะหยุด ทํากิจกรรมทุกๆ อยางเพื่อตั้งใจเรียนเพียงอยางเดียว จนเวลาผานไป 1 ปผมไดยอนกลับมาถามตัวเองวา “รางวัลและผลงานความดีที่ทํามา จะ มีคาอะไรหากมคิดที่จะแบงบันใหผูอื่น” หลังจากที่ยอนกลับมาถามตัว เองอยูห ลายวัน ก็คดิ ลุกขึน้ มาทําในสิง่ ทีเ่ รารักตอ เริม่ ดวยลงสมัครนายก สโมสรนักศึกษา มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลลานนา ภาคพายัพ เชียงใหม ประจําปกษรศึกษา 2555 และนี่คือจุดเริ่มตนของการทํางาน อยางทุมเทของผมตลอดเวลาที่ศึกษา ณ สถานศึกษาแหงนี้ ในขณะชวงที่ทําหนาที่ผูนํานักศึกษา ก็เคยไดยิน อาจารย และเจาหนาที่พูดกันวา “ครั้งสุดทายที่ นักศึกษาของมหาวิทยาลัยของ เราไดรางวัล นักศึกษารางวัลพระราชทานก็ป 2545 (ตอนชื่อสถาบัน เทคโนโลยีราชมงคลลานนา ภาคพายัพ เชียงใหม)” จนถึงปจจุบันก็ไม เคยไดอีกเลย ทั้งๆที่ มหาวิทยาลัยของเราสงนักศึกษาเขาประเมิณทุกป และนั้นคือจุดเริ่มตนที่ทาทายสําหรับผม หลายคงอาจมองเปนสิ่งที่ยาก ที่จะแขงขันกับมหาวิทยลัยชื่อดัง ในระดับสถานศึกษาขนาดใหญ ทั่ว ภาคเหนือ และที่ยากขั้นไปอีกคือในชีวิติคนหนึ่งคน จะไดโอกาส ครั้ง ที่ 2 ที่จะไดรับรางวัล นักศึกษารางวัลพระราชทาน เพราะสิ่งที่ยากกวา การทําความดี คือการรักษาความดี แตผมก็ไมไดคดิ อะไรยังคงทํางานเพือ่ สวนรวมตอไปดวยอุดมการณทหี่ นักแนนดวยนโยบายทีว่ า “เราตองเปน ศูนยกลาง และกระบอกเสียงใหนักศึกษา” จนผมไดทําหนาที่จนหมด วาระซึ่งอยูในชวงของป 4 พอดี และผมไดมีโอกาสสงผลงานเขารับการ ประเมิณเพื่อรับรางวัลนักศึกษารางวัลพระราชทานฯ อีกครั้ง ครั้งนี้จัดที่ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม ผมยังจําถึงความรูส กึ ไดดคี รับ ตอนนัน้ ผมตืน่ เตน มาก บวกกับเวลาทีเ่ ตรียมตัวนอย เจอเพือ่ นๆ ตางๆ สถาบันแตละคนมีผล งานระดับชาติทโี่ ดนเดนมาก ถึงเวลาเขารับการประเมิณ คณะกรรมการมี ประมาณ 15 ทาน มีทงั ผูท รงคุณวุฒจิ ากสวนกลาง (สกอ.) และผูแ ทนจาก มหาวิทยาลัยตางๆ โดยใหเวลานําเสนอ 10 นาที และตอบคําถามอีก 20 นาที ผมจําคําถามไดดีโดยคําถามนี้ผมไดรับมาจาก ประธานกรรมการที่ ถามวา “ทําไมคุณสมควรไดรบั รางวัลพระราชทาน” ผมก็ตอบไปวา คง เปนทีผ่ มไมยอมทีจ่ ะหยุดทําความดี เพราะผมเคยคิดทีจ่ ะหยุดทํากิจกรรม แตวนั นหนึง่ ผมก็ไดยอ นกลับมาถามตัวเองวา ประสบการณ รางวัล ทีผ่ า น มาจะมีคา อะไรหาก ผมไมคดิ ทีจ่ ะถายทอดและแบงปนใหคนอืน่ หากจะ ใหตอบวาทําไมผมควรไดรบั รางวัลพระราชทาน คงเปนความคิดทีผ่ มจะ ทําความดี และกิจกรรมตอ ตราบเทาที่ผมยังมีลมหายใจ พอตอบเสร็จ ผมนํ้าตาไหล เพราะมันคือคําตอบที่ผมกลั่นกรองมาจากหัวใจ ฝากถึง ทุกๆ ทานที่ไดอานในชวงนี้ หนึ่งชีวิตจะมีเรื่องใหจดจําไมมาก เราเลือก เองไดครับวาสิ่งที่เราจะจํานั้น มันจะเปนสิ่งที่ดี หรือไมดี สําหรับผมแลว มันเปนความทรงจําที่ดีครับ ที่ไดเขามาเรียนในมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยี ราชมงคลลานนา (ราชมงคลสถาบันอันเปนมงคลแหงพระราชา)”

Royal awards given to students, undergraduates, and educational institutes are fully granted by generosity to respond to the royal guidance of His Majesty Bhumibol Adulyadej (the King Rama IX) who made a statement to the Minister of Education (M.L. Pin Malakul in 1963. Consideration for Student Royal Awards will be given to students who have good grades, good behavior, and to the good schools having good educational management. Ministry of Education are grateful for the King’s generosity; therefore, the ministry has responded to the King’s statement and enacted the procedures for Student Royal Awards given to students, undergraduates, and educational institutes to follow since 1964 until now. The awards are divided into the royal awards allocated to educational institutes; the royal awards for undergraduates and disabled. The qualifications of undergraduates and disabled are the students studying in Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree at least one year and having cumulative Grade Point Average not less than 2.75 in the past academic year. Only for the disabled, they must have cumulative Grade Point Average not less than 2.50 in the past academic year. The candidates need to have five fundamental qualifications. Assessment of the candidates to be conferred the Student Royal Awards in higher education level is education, working and managing skill, health and hygiene, behaviour, morality, ethics, cultural, art and environment preservation, activity assessment, and high-performance students; for example, having utilities to society, having high quality and morality or creativity, continuation of doing activities and outstanding performance.

The RMUTL is an educational institute having three of the Student Royal Awards. Those students were Miss Chutima Suwannarat, Accountancy Major in Faculty of Business Administration and Liberal Arts (at that time), the ex-president of the student club in 2001; Mr. Anuphap Meechakha, Electrical Engineering Major in Faculty of Engineering (at that time), the ex-president of the student club in 2013; and Mr. Prompat Chotsiradanan, Visual Arts Major in Faculty of Arts and Architecture conferred the award for the disabled in physical disability.

Today, we will introduce you all of three graduates who were conferred the Student Royal Awards for being the role model and inspiration to all students having the same dream of there of them.

Miss Chutima Suwannarat (Orr)

Age 38 years, a representative awarded in Royal Student Awards in 2002 • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Accounting) in 2003, Rajamangala Technology Institute, Payap Campus (at that time) • Master’s Degree in Business Administration (Finance), Kasetsart University • Certified Public Accountant, Register number 8457 • Current position: Deputy Managing Director (Accounting and Finance) at Premier Products Public Company Limited Q: How do you know about Student Royal Awards?

A: When I was a student, it was not so easy to get to the information as nowadays. I knew this award from the lecturers or staff in the Division of Student Affairs.

We were shared some good advice because we worked closely together.

Q: What did you do to receive this award? What are the criteria of consideration?

A: As I remembered (long time ago since early in 2002), the criteria of consideration for the award were portfolio and interview. We needed to submit the portfolio presenting what we had been done. After that, the committee would interview us at the university which it was the competition in Student Royal Awards for Higher Education in the North. The portfolio at that time was like photos of activities that we gathered them all together as we were still using the film cameras. I, my friends and Mr. Peera Junoisuwan help them all get ordered and made them as a book for presentation.

The most important thing for me was the contents what

we would present. The contents of the story started from the beginning when I was a student here. I attended activities when I had free time during the study in the first year. I joined each activity which the university held. As a follower, I did not think that I would become a leader as the senior did. I just felt that we should pay attention and to the things that would happen by a group of people (team members of Student Affairs). We should consider those things were important and should not let them waste their time. I tried doing all of them such as, Badminton Club, Communication Radio, Peton. I went to the competitions.

I sometimes won and I sometimes lost. It made me knowing more friends coming from other faculties. Some friends told me that I should try to be a candidate for the president of student club. That was the beginning of being the president of student club in 2001. My life changed a lot since that day. I broaden my experience until now.

“I myself never forgot and gave up in my goal which is the study. No matter what how many activities I attended, my grades must not be less. Sometimes I had to miss a class due to the activities, I had to speed up myself to read books and caught up what friends had studied. I had to do homework as normal as I was not the special one. I did not only study in classes, but I also studied outside the classes. For example, I took English courses after I finished the classes. In addition, I worked and served my internship during the study break (before the internship in the curriculum). I tried to do things which related to my profession, Accounting, so that I could study them and could understand them clearly. I never abandoned the study; therefore, I did both of the study and activities together at the same time. I could not stand if someone told me that I could not study properly because I joined the activities.”.

Overall, I did not do for the award. I did not create my profile to win this award. However, this award truly was “the award” for me because I did not expect for having it. It was the award that I received after I had done all of those things. During the journey, I had experience, new friends, learning new things, and learning how to live my life all along the way. I could not deny that this award was the award for my father, my mother, and my lecturers. They would not be disappointed with me who they had been teaching all the time. During the ceremony, it was clear that those people, my father, my mother, and my lecturers, were happier than me.

Q: Please Khun Orr suggest some advice to the next generation dreaming to win this award; and also, convey the messages to students having you as the role model of success.

A: First of all, I wanted to thank all of students who thought I was the role model of success. We would not fascinate a lot in the past of our success, and we also needed to continue developing ourselves.

Winning the award, I thought that the factors would not be the same when the time changed. The only thing that would not change is our intention to keep doing the good. When we do the good and useful to others, those things would reward us the same as the circle where we were one of the creators. นิตยสาร ราชมงคลล้านนา 11

Mr.Anuphap Meechakha or Kook The Royal Student Awards in the academic year of 2009 and 2013. He graduated Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, RMUTL. He also graduated Master’s Degree in Electronical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi. He is currently an Electronical System Design Engineer at a foreign company, and a representative of Thailand participating in international conference in Human Rights, Peace, and Disaster.

“I knew the Student Royal Awards since 2009 when I was studying at Tak Technical College. I had been receiving help and suggestion from Mr. Pongsak Boonphakdee all the time until I received the Student Royal Award in 2009.

Dreaming of receiving the royal awards, the Ministry of Education and the Office of His Majesty’s Principal Private Secretary allowed us to bring a guest to the ceremony. My mother accompanied me at that time to meet with Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn at Dusidalai Hall, Chitralada Villa, Dusit Palace. I was very blissful and proud.

It was not only the royal grace that I received the award, but I was also proud that I could take my mother to attend the ceremony being honour to our family. After receiving the Student Royal Awards in 2009, I went to study (with a quota on Ethical Behaviour) in 4-year programme in Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Rajamagala University of Technology Lanna (Payap Campus) in Chiang Mai Province. In the first year, I thought I would stop doing all activities and would do only study. When a year passed, I asked myself that “The award and all the good I did would not have any values if we would not share to others.”. I had been thinking for several days, finally, I was back and started doing what I loved. I was a candidate for being the president of the student club, Rajamagala University of Technology Lanna (Payap Campus) in Chiang Mai Province in the academic year of 2012, and this was the beginning that I dedicated my time to work all the time I was studying here.

While I was in the position of student leader, I heard the lecturers and staff said that “The last time that our students conferred the award in Student Royal Awards was in 2002 (under the previous name as Technology and Vocational College, Payap Campus, Chiang Mai).”.

Even though the students of the university were annually represented, there was no one awarded since then. This was a challenge to me. Many people would think it would be difficult to compete with students from other large size of the famous universities in the Northern region, and it would be more difficult to get the second opportunity to confer the award in Student Royal Awards. It is more difficult to keep doing the good than doing good. I did not think that much, but still worked for the public with the strong ideals following the policy “We must be the centre and the voice of students”. I served until the term of the position ended which was the fourth year. I had an opportunity to submit the project to be assessed for the award in Student Royal Awards again. At this time, the ceremony held at Chiang Mai University. I remembered all of my feelings at that time.

It was very exciting and did not have much time for selfpreparation. I met many students coming from other universities. They had their own outstanding national performance. The committee of the assessment team had approximate 15 people who were the experts from the Office of Higher Education Commission and the universities’ representatives. There was ten minutes for each presentation and twenty minutes for asking and answering questions.

I remembered the questions which I was asked by the Chairman of the Committee. The question was “Why did you deserve to have this award?”. I answered that It was because I would not stop doing the good. I used to think of stop doing activities, but I was back to ask myself that my experience and award would be nothing if I would not think to share those things with others. If you want me to say the reason of receiving this award, it would be that my good thought of doing good and carrying on the activities as long as I was still alive. After answering the questions, my tears dropped. It was the answer that I gave them from the bottom of my heart to everyone reading in this section. In one life, there were not many things to remember, but we could choose what we wanted to remember whether it was a good one or not. For me, it was a good memory to study in Rajamagala University of Technology Lanna (The auspicious university of His Majesty)”.

Mr. Prompat Chotsiradanan (So Cool) a representative awarded in Royal Student Awards in 2015.

He graduated Bachelor’s Degree in Vitual Arts, Faculty of Arts and Architechture, RMUTL. Now studying in Master degree of Fine Arts Program in Visual Arts Faculty of Fine Arts at Chiang Mai university.

Mr.Prompat said though he was anomalies but he never felt neglected in destiny.

He sought the ways out by create arts and skillful in drawing by using his mouth.

He continued that when he was 3 years old he tried to draw a picture by using his mouth then he discovered that it was his gift and his parant always support him. “ It was a great opportunity for me to study vitual arts at Faculty of Arts and Architechture, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna. I love drewing. All teachers gave me more advance techniques. My classmates always help me in everythings. I am vey pround that I participate in many drawing competitions and earn many awards. I have already proof that though I am abnormality but I have same abilites to others” Cool said that “This Royal Award is the highest honor award for me. I want to say thank you to everyone who support me both teachers, executives, all friends in my faculty and the most important thing is this university that gave me the opportunity to study and participate in university activities until I were considered to receive this award. ถวยรางวัลพระราชทาน จากสมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี (พระยศในขณะนั้น) รางวัลชนะเลิศการประกวดโครงการกลาใหม...ใฝรู ป 8 ประจําป 2556 “ขาวสามสุข” เมื่อกลาวถึง “ขาวสามสุข” หลายทานคงรูจักกันดีกับความสําเร็จของนักศึกษามทร.ลานนา ลําปาง ทีไ่ ดสรางชือ่ เสียงระดับประเทศ ในโครงการกลาใหม...ใฝรู ป 8 จัดโดยธนาคารไทยพาณิชย จํากัด (มหาชน) โดยการควารางวัลชนะเลิศ โครงงาน “กลาใหม...สรางสรรคชุมชน” ระดับอุดมศึกษา ได รับรางวัลเงินสดกวา 9 แสนบาท และถวยรางวัลพระราชทาน จากสมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยาม บรมราชกุมารี นํามาซึ่งความภาคภูมิใจสูมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลลานนา และประชาชนชาว จังหวัดลําปาง Q:จุดเริ่มตนของการผลักดันการสงผลงานเขารวมประกวด/แขงขัน บานทุงหลวง ต.แมวิน อ.แมวาง จ.เชียงใหม เปนหนึ่งในหมูบานที่ประกอบอาชีพเกษตรกรรม โดยการปลูกขาวเพือ่ บริโภคและจําหนาย ชนสิษฎ นิยมไพรนิเวศน หนึง่ ในสมาชิกของทีมเปนคนในพืน้ ที่ เขาเห็นปญหา ขาวเหลือเกินบริโภค ดินเสือ่ มโทรมเนือ่ งจากการใชสารเคมี ประกอบกับวัฒนธรรมทางการ เกษตรดัง้ เดิมเริม่ สูญหาย พวกเราจึงมีแนวคิดและแรงบันดาลใจในการพัฒนาสิง่ แวดลอมและคุณภาพชีวติ ของคนในชุมชน โดยการเลาผานขาวกลางดอยทีถ่ า ยทอดเรือ่ งราวของชุมชนชาวปะกาเกอะญอ (กระเห รีย่ ง) สูผ บู ริโภคในโครงการชุมชนพัฒนารักษาสิง่ แวดลอม สืบสานวัฒนธรรมดวยผลิตภัณฑขา วพืน้ เมือง ภายใตแบรนด ขาวสามสุข Q:ความคาดหวังถึงประโยชนและผลที่จะไดรับ ความคาดหวังคืออยากมีสวนรวมในการแกไขปญหาดินเสื่อมโทรมและเพิ่มรายไดใหแกคนใน ซึ่งที่ผานมาเกษตรกรตองรอพอคามารับซื้อในหมูบาน และโดยมากก็จะถูกกดราคาใหขาวราคาถูก หาก โชครายบางปก็ขายไมหมด ที่สําคัญที่สุดคือเราปลูกขาวปลอดสารคุณภาพดี แตเวลาขาย ราคามันไมดี ตามคุณภาพทีเ่ ราปลูก พวกเราจึงคิดวานาจะนําความรูท พี่ วกเราเรียนในดานวิทยาศาสตรและเทคโนโลยี การเกษตรมาปรับใชกบั ชุมชน ซึง่ เปนชุมชนบานเกิดของสมาชิกเราเอง หากสําเร็จก็จะไดนาํ ไปใชกบั ชุมชน ของสมาชิกคนอื่นๆ หรือขยายไปยังชุมชนใกลเคียงดวย พวกเราตั้งใจที่จะพัฒนาชุมชนโดยการเพิ่มมูลคาขาวในชุมชน ดวยการรักษาสิ่งแวดลอมผาน กระบวนการผลิตขาวดวยวิถีอินทรียปลอดสารพิษ ตั้งแตตนนําถึงปลายนํา ( เราลงพื้นที่ศึกษา วิเคราะห ดิน จนเก็บเกีย่ วและจําหนาย) โดยทําการตกลงรวมกับกลุม เกษตรรักษธรรมชาติวา จะผลิตขาวกลองภาย ใตแบรนดขาวสามสุขตามวิถีวัฒนธรรมดั้งเดิม เพราะพวกเราอยากใหผูบริโภคไดรับความสุข ทั้งสุขกาย คือไดบริโภคขางทีป่ ลอดภัย ปลอดสารพิษ สุขใจคือการไดเปนสวนหนึง่ ในการชวยเหลือชาวดอย ซึง่ ราย ไดจากการขาย 10 เปอรเซ็นจะหักเขาไปสมทบทุนในการพัฒนาชุมชน สุขอารมณ คือการไดบริโภคขาว ที่อรอยและมีความแปลกใหม พวกเราจึงเลือกขาวสามสายพันธุ ไดแก “บือเนอมู” ราชาแหงความหอม เปนสายพันธุข า วเกา แกทผี่ า นการคัดเลือกมาตัง้ แตบรรพบุรษุ มีการเก็บรักษาไวเปนพันธุป ลูกมาจนถึงปจจุบนั ขณะที่ “บือช อมี” ซึ่งเชื่อวาเปน “ราชินีแหงสีสัน” เพราะเมื่อหุงสุกแลวจะใหสีแดงแกมชมพูสวยงาม มีสารตอตาน อนุมูลอิสระที่มีประโยชนตอรางกาย สวน “บือพะโดะ” เปนขาวพันธุยอดนิยมของชาวดอยที่เมล็ดโต หุงขึน้ หมอ และรับประทานอรอย โดย “บือพะโด” ชุมชนทุงหลวงผลิตไดมากที่สุดและนิยมรับประทาน จากการพัฒนาและปรับปรุงกระบวนการผลิต เรามีการทดลองจําหนายไดผลตอบรับจากผูบริโภคดีมาก ทําใหเกษตรกรมีรายไดเพิ่มขึ้นและหันมาทําเกษตรอินทรียกันมากขึ้น นิตยสาร ราชมงคลล้านนา 15

Q:ปญหา อุปสรรคในระหวางการแขงขัน เรือ่ งของการเดินทาง เนือ่ งจากตอนนัน้ พวกเราเปนนักศึกษาการ เดินทางไปคอนขางลําบาก ไมมรี ถขึน้ ไปยังหมูบ า น บางครัง้ ทีล่ งพืน้ ที่ พวก เราตองเสียเวลากันเกือบครึ่งวันเพื่อรอโบกรถขนผักจากตัวเมืองที่จะเขา สูหมูบาน ทําใหแรกๆพวกเราแอบทอ แตพวกเราคิดวานั่นคือรสชาติหนึ่ง ของชีวิต ถาสบายเกินไป เราจะไมรูถึงความลําบาก แตก็สนุกและทาทาย มาก (หัวเราะ) Q:สิ่งที่ยากที่สุดในการทํางานรวมกัน เรื่องของภาษา พวกเรามีปญหาในเรื่องของการสื่อสารเล็กนอย เนือ่ งจากวาสมาชิกในทีมทีแ่ ปลภาษาถิน่ ไดมคี นเดียวเทานัน้ ตอนเก็บขอมูล โดยเฉพาะขอมูลเกี่ยวกับเรื่องราวที่จะนํามาถายทอดเปนนิทานที่เลาเรื่อง ราวของขาวและชุมชนชาวปะกาเกอะญอนั้น เราตองสอบถามจากผูเฒาผู แก ซึ่งสื่อสารเฉพาะภาษาถิ่นเทานั้น จึงทําใหเกิดการแปลซําไปมา เพื่อ ใหไดขอมูลที่ถูกตอง ครบถวน Q:มหาวิทยาลัยมีการสนับสนุน สงเสริมอยางไรบาง มหาวิ ท ยาลั ย ได อํ า นวยความสะดวกด า นสถานที่ แ ละ สาธารณูปโภคตางๆ คอยสนับสนุนในทุกๆเรือ่ ง และประชาสัมพันธกจิ กรรม ที่พวกเราทําใหภายนอกไดรับทราบ ทําใหขาวสามสุขเปนที่รูจักและมียอด การสั่งซื้อที่มากขึ้น Q:สิ่งที่ไดรับกลับมานอกจากรางวัลแลวคืออะไร คือความภาคภูมใิ จ เราใชใจกับใจในการสือ่ สารกับชุมชน ทุง หลวง ในวันนี้เปนที่รูจักของคนทั้งประเทศ จากเรื่องราวของขาวสามสุข พวกเรา ภูมิใจที่ไดเปนคนกลุมเล็กๆ ที่มีสวนชวยในการผลักดันและพัฒนาคุณภาพ ชีวิตที่ดีขึ้นของเกษตรกรในชุมชน ในการบริหารจัดการขาวเพื่อเพิ่มรายได สามารถผลิตและจําหนายขาวไดดวยตนเอง อีกหนึ่งสิ่งที่ไดรับนอกจากรางวัลคือประสบการณในการทํางาน รวมกัน ทัง้ จากเพือ่ นรวมทีม กับอาจารยทปี่ รึกษา กับชุมชน แมเราจะเรียน ทฤษฎีและปฏิบัติในหองเรียนมา บางครั้งเราไมสามารถเก็บรายละเอียด และจดจําไดทงั้ หมด โอกาสนอยมากทีจ่ ะไดทาํ งานรวมกับชุมชนเพราะเรา ตองเรียน ในบทเรียนมีแตวธิ กี าร แตไมมกี ารแกไขปญหา ประสบการณตรง นี้ตางหากจะชวยเรา ทั้งในการเรียน และการทํางาน ตองเอามาหมดทุก อยาง เรียนรูการทํางานรวมกับชุมชน เราเรียนทฤษฎี สามารถนําไปใชกับ ชุมชนอืน่ ได ประสบการณในการทํางานจริง สามารถชวยใหเราแกไขปญหา Q:ไดอะไรจากการรวมกิจกรรม/รวมการแขงขัน/ตัวแทนนักศึกษา ไดฝกฝนตนเอง การไดเขารวมโครงการครั้งนี้ ทําใหพวกเรากลา

It is widely known that “Khao Sam Suk” is a success of the students of the Rajamagala University of Technology Lanna in Lampang Province who make the national reputation in the 8th Young Generation Pursues Knowledge Project held

by The Siam Commercial Bank Public Company Limited.

They were awarded the winner prize in the project “Young Generation… Community Innovation” in the undergraduate level which they received cash more than 900,000 Baht and the royal trophy awarded from Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. This is the pride of the Rajamagala University of Technology Lanna and the people in Lampang Province.

Q: The beginning of your inspiration for sending the project to the competition Baan Thung Luang, Mae Win Sub-District, Mae Wang District, Chaing Mai Province is one of the agricultural villages which grow rice for consumption and distribution. Chonsith Niyomprainivet, a member of the team, is a local person, He realized the problems of excess the amount of rice for consumption, soil deterioration due to chemical products used, and initial loss of traditional culture in agricultural. We, therefore, have initials and inspiration in environmental development and qualify of life of people in community by using the story-telling through the story of Pakakeryor Community (Karen) to consumers in the project of Environmental Development of Community and Cultural Inheritance of Local Rice Product under the brand Khao Sam Suk. Q: Expectations of benefits and outcomes The expectation is participation in solving the problems of soil deterioration and increase in an income to the people of community. In the past, the agriculturalists must wait for middlemen to come to the village to purchase rice. Most of the time the middlemen will force the agriculturalists to sell the lower price. Unfortunately, all of rice could not sell in some years. The most important is that our rice is organic and has high quality, but it is never sold in the good price as its quality. and Agricultural Technology to the community which is the hometown of our membership. If it is successful, it could apply to the other communities where our other memberships live in, and the other nearby communities.

We intend that we will develop the community by increasing in the price of rice in community. We will start from environmental saving through the process of organic rice production from the upstream to downstream (We study the area, soil analysis, harvest and selling products). We agreed to the group of nature farming that we will produce brown rice under the brand Khao Sam Suk following the traditional culture. We want the consumers to be happy – physical happiness: to consume organic rice, and mental happiness: to be a part in helping the hill tribe people. The 10 percent of income will be contributed to the community development. Happiness is consumption of tasty and unique rice.

We choose three varieties of rice which are “Buenermu”, “Buesorme”, and “Buepado”.

“Buenermu”, the King of Fragrance”, is an old type of rice which is selected since the ancestor. It has been cultivated from the past up until now; whereas, “Buesorme”, the Queen of Colours” is having red and pink colour when it was cooked. It also contains antioxidants. In addition, “Buepado” is a famous type of the hill tribe people because it is big grains, easy to cook up, and delicious. This type is also grown the most in Thung Luang Community, and it is a popular one. Regarding the development and improvement in production process, we have the product trial sales which receive the good responses from the consumers. This makes the agriculturalists have more income and start doing more in organic farming.

Q: Problems and obstacles during the competition It would be the travelling. It was very difficult to travel as we were the students. We did not have the vehicle to take us to the village. We sometimes wasted our time for half a day to wait for only some vegetable truck to pick us up from the city to the village. We sometimes wanted to give up, but we thought that is a part of our life. If we are too convenient, we will not know the difficulty of life. However, it was very fun and challenging (laughing).

Q: The most difficulties in team collaboration The problem is the language used in communication as there is only a team member who can translate the dialect. When we collect the data, the information are the stories telling about rice and the community of Pakakeryor, a tribe of Karen. The data need to be obtained from the elders of the community who only communicate in their dialect. The translation is necessary to make sure that the set of information are correctly and completely translated.

Hands–on Graduate Q: How does the university support and promote the competition?

The university has provided the facilities and utilities to us. The university also support us in all matters and help all of our activities publicized to the outsiders. This makes Khao Sam Suk to be well known and get more the number of orders.

Q: What experience do you gain in participating the activity / the competition / the representatives?

We practiced ourselves. After joining the project, we have more courage to speak, to think, to do, and to express ourselves. We have good experience in working together.

Q: What are the messages that you would like to pass on to the people who have dream or want to success?

I want you to start at yourselves. It is important to find your own competency, and you must put all of your effort to work the best on those things. Finally, you will be fun of doing what you are doing now; and also, you will succeed in those things.

Dr. Surapon Jaiwongsa, the project advisor, shared his opinions about the competition that “It is a way of teaching students by using activities in classes. We give the students the challenges regarding social issues so that they can practice in applying the process of thinking, analyzing, and solving the problems. Submission the project into the competition is also a way of teaching which the students will learn the process of work including the process of step-by-step thinking. The students can also learn about their personalities and social skills to adjust themselves in the society. For example, some students are very shy and unconfident. The activities will help these students to meet and have more interaction with other people which the students will have more confidence. I do not tell the students what they have to do when we work together as a team. I want them to try, to learn, and to solve the problems by themselves. I will only give them some advice, the guidance, and more information they needed. It is very fun to work with the students because both of us learn together from doing this project.”.

“Not only do the students develop the skills in this competition, but it also benefits the community. After the project finished, the people in community has gathered to build the group of nature farming to do full function in organic farming. Our university is well known to the people in the society and community that we are the university truly introducing the innovation to the community.”.

Q: What do you have earned from the competition besides the award?

I am proud of expressing our heart to communicate with the community.

Today, Thung Luang is well know across the country. According to the story of Khao Sam Suk, we are proud of being a small group to support, to promote, and to develop quality of life for agriculturalists in the community, to manage rice to increase more income, and to produce and sell rice by themselves.

The other thing that we received besides the award is experience in working together among team colleagues, the project advisor, and the community. Even though we study the theories and do some practice in the classes, we sometimes cannot remember all of the details. There are not many opportunities that we can work together with the community because we need to study. In the lessons, we study only the strategies, but we do now know how to solve the problems. Actually, the experience in the project can help us understand the lessons both inside and outside the classes. We need to apply all knowledge and experience to work with the community. We learn the theories which we can apply to the community; and also, we share experience in working to help us solve the problems.

และการดํารงชีวิตของผูบกพรองทางการเห็นอยางมาก ปจจุบันโรงเรียนศึกษา คนตาบอดลําปางใชสื่อประเภทเสียง 2 แบบ คือ สื่อหนังสือเสียงอิเล็คทรอนิกส ระบบเดซี่ (DAISY) และสื่อหนังสือเสียงผานระบบอินเตอรเน็ตของศูนยสื่อการ ศึกษาเพื่อคนพิการ สื่อสองชนิดนี้มีความแตกตางกันคือระบบเดซี่ เปนระบบที่ผู บกพรองทางการเห็นสามารถหาและควบคุมการอานดวยตนเอง แตก็มีขอจํากัด คือ ราคาของเครื่องเดซี่คอนขางสูง มีใชเฉพาะในโรงเรียน เนื้อหาของหนังสือ เสียงโดยสวนใหญจึงจะเนนใชประกอบในการเรียนการสอน ในขณะที่สื่อหนังสือ เสียงผานระบบอินเตอรเน็ตฯ เปนเว็บไซตที่รวบรวมสื่อสําหรับคนพิการ มีการ แบงเปนหมวดหมู ซึ่งสื่อประเภทนี้จะเปนเสียงเพื่อการอานหนังสือจึงเปนไฟล ขนาดใหญ มีสวนของ Timeline เพื่อผูใชสามารถหยุดและเลนซํา แตสื่อดังกลาว มีขอจํากัดคือ การควบคุม Timeline ของเสียงตองใชเมาสในการควบคุม ทําให ผูบกพรองทางการเห็นไมสามารถควบคุมเสียงดวยตนเองได จึงตองมีอาจารย คอยควบคุมการใชงานทีมนักศึกษาจึงมีแนวคิดที่จะประยุกตเนื้อหาการเรียน การสอนกลุมวิชากราฟฟก มาพัฒนาสื่อหนังสือเสียงสําหรับผูบกพรองทางการ มองเห็นในระดับชั้นอนุบาลจนถึงชั้นประถมศึกษาปที่ 3 เพื่อเปนการกระตุน จินตนาการและสงเสริมทักษะการอาน จึงรวมกับอาจารยที่ปรึกษาสงโครงการ เขาประกวดการแขงขันโครงการประกวดกระทิงแดงยูโปรเจคป 2 สาขาการศึกษา Q: ความคาดหวังถึงประโยชนและผลที่จะไดรับ A: การทําโครงการในตอนนั้น เราคิดแควาจะทําอยางไรใหนองๆที่มีความ บกพรองทางการมองเห็น ไดมีสื่อการเรียนการสอนที่จะกระตุนจินตนาการของ นองๆ เพราะสําหรับผูที่มีความบกพรองทางการเห็นแลว พวกเขาไมสามารถตื่น มาพรอมกับการชื่นชมสีสันทองฟาที่สดใสของวันใหม แตพวกเขาสามารถไดยิน นิตยสาร ราชมงคลล้านนา 21

และสัมผัสไดดวยจินตนาการ หลังจากที่พวกเราสงโครงการเขา รวมประกวดกระทิงแดงยูโปรเจค กับบริษัท เครื่องดื่มกระทิง แดง จํากัด มีหลายคนที่วาพวกเราบา (หัวเราะ) พวกเขาคิดวา จะมีหนวยงานหรือบริษัทใดที่จะสนับสนุนเงินใหนักศึกษามาทํา กิจกรรม เพียงเพราะดูจากโครงการไมกี่แผน แตใครจะเชื่อวา พวกเราทําได ภายหลังจากคณะกรรมการประกาศผล ทีมของ พวกเราไดรับเลือกใหผานเขารอบ 1 ใน 20 ทีมจากผลงานของ นักศึกษาทั่วประเทศ ใน 4 สาขา คือ สาขาเกษตรกรรม สาขา การศึกษาหรือวัฒนธรรม สาขาการแพทยและสาธารณสุข และ สาขานวัตกรรมเพือ่ วิสาหกิจชุมชน หลังจากนัน้ พวกเราก็ไดไปเขา คายเพื่อเรียนรูวิธีการทําโครงการ และไดงบประมาณสําหรับทํา โครงการ 300.000 บาท ซึ่งพวกเราตั้งเปาหมายไววา พวกเราจะ ทําสือ่ หนังสือเสียงนีม้ อบแกโรงเรียนการศึกษาคนตาบอด จังหวัด ลําปาง โรงเรียนสอนคนตาบอดสันติจินตนา จังหวัดแพร และ โรงเรียนสอนคนตาบอดภาคเหนือ จังหวัดเชียงใหม Q: ในการทํางานพบปญหา อุปสรรคอะไรบางในระหวางการ แขงขัน A: ป ญ หาหลั ก ของพวกเราก็ คื อ การสื่ อ สารและความมั่ น ใจ สมาชิกในทีมของพวกเราสวนใหญเปนคนเงียบๆ ไมคอยพูด แต เวลาทํางานทําจริง (เรียกวาจริงจังมาก555) ซึ่งมันก็อาจจะเปน ลักษณะของเด็กไอทีที่มักจะมีปฏิสัมพันธกับคอมพิวเตอรเปน สวนใหญ เลยทําใหพวกเราขาดความมั่นใจเวลาตองมีปฏิสัมพันธ กับมนุษย (หัวเราะ) แตเพราะเปาหมายของพวกเราชัดเจน เรา จึงมีการฝกฝนบอยๆ อีกอยางหนึ่งก็คือเรื่องของเวลา ในชวงที่ทําโครงการ เปนชวงที่เราเรียนหนัก อาจารยก็สอนเยอะมาก เวลาในการ ทํางานมีนอย เราจึงตองมีการบริหารจัดการที่ดีมาก ชวงนั้นกลับ หอดึกดืน่ กันทุกคืน ยังดีทม่ี โี ซเชียลใหพวกเราไดพดู คุยและปรึกษา หารือกัน แกปญหาผานไอทีตามสไตลของเด็กคอม (หัวเราะ) Q: สิ่งที่ยากที่สุดในการทํางานรวมกัน 22 นิตยสาร ราชมงคลล้านนา

A: สิง่ ทีย่ ากทีส่ ดุ ในการทํางานรวมกันของพวกเราคือกระบวนการผลิตหนังสือ นูนตํา จากเดิมพวกเราทดลองสรางภาพนูนตําตนแบบจากกระดาษ (เปเปอร มาเช) และนําเสนอใหกับกรรมการในการแขงขันรอบสุดทาย แตพอมาถึง กระบวนการผลิตจริง เปเปอรมาเชไมตอบโจทยของพวกเรา เนื่องจากภาพ นูนตาํ ทีเ่ ราใสในนิทานมีขนาดเล็ก มีรายละเอียดเยอะ เราจึงมีการปรับเปลีย่ น โดยการใชวัสดุที่เหลือทิ้งอื่น เชน ขี้เลื่อยละเอียด ที่ไดจากการผลิตหัตถกรรม ไม บานหลุก อ.แมทะ ลําปาง และหาสัดสวนการผสมที่ลงตัวกับวัสดุอื่นใน การขึ้นรูป นอกจากนี้แลวกระบวนการสรางแบบพิมพ และการอัดบล็อก ก็ เปนโจทยที่ยากอยูเหมือนกัน เพราะเมื่อกระบวนการผลิตภาพนูนตําเปลี่ยน จากเปเปอรมาเช พวกเราตองกลับแมพิมพเพื่ออัดขี้เลื่อยแทน ซึ่งความยาก คือการอัดแลวจะเอาขี้เลื่อยออกมาโดยไมเสียรูปทรงไดอยางไร? ปนอยางไร เมื่อแกะชิ้นงานแลวจะไมแตกหรือไมหักงาย? ปนแบบอยางไรไมใหมีคมหรือ เปนอันตรายตอนอง ๆ ที่สัมผัส พวกเราลองผิดลองถูกกันมาทุกวิธี กวาจะหา คําตอบไดคอนขางยาก มีการประชุม ถอดบทเรียนกันทุก ๆ เย็น เครียดพอ สมควร แตในที่สุดเราก็ผานมาได ยังไมหมดเทานี้จุดที่ยากที่สุดของงานพวกเราอยูตรงที่จํานวนของ ภาพนูนตํา พวกเราตั้งใจทํา 10 เรื่อง ในแตละเรื่องมี 4 ฉาก ซึ่งแตละฉากมี ตัวละครหลายตัวมาก สงมอบ 3 โรงเรียน คูณเลน ๆ คือปนกันเยอะมาก จาก นั้นก็ตองมาประกอบฉากมาเปนชุด พี่กอลฟกับพี่แมน สมาชิกในทีมของเรา ตองเดินทางไปโรงเรียนการศึกษาคนตาบอดแทบทุกวันเพือ่ ไปอานบทนิทานให อาจารยวชิ าญ คุณครูสอนโรงเรียนศึกษาคนตาบอดลําปางพิมพอกั ษรเบรลลให กวาจะผานจุด ๆ นั้นไดยากเหมือนกัน หากเพื่อน ๆ นอง ๆ อาจารย ทางมหา วิทยาลัยฯไมชวยในการผลิต อาจารยวิชาญไมชวยพิมพอักษรเบรลล แทบ คิดไมออกเลยวางานจะเสร็จไหม พวกเราจะทําสําเร็จรึเปลา Q: มหาวิทยาลัยมีการสนับสนุน สงเสริมอยางไรบาง A: มหาวิทยาลัยใหการสนับสนุนและสงเสริมในดานของการอํานวยความ สะดวก ขอบคุณผูบ ริหาร คณาจารย บุคลากรของมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราช มงคลลานนา ลําปาง คณาจารย เพื่อนๆ พี่ๆนองๆ นักศึกษาที่มีจิตอาสามา ชวยกันผลิตสือ่ และกําลังใจจากทุกคน และทีส่ าํ คัญขอบคุณอาจารยทปี่ รึกษา

The Royal Trophy awarded from Her Royal Highness Princess Soamsawali (the royal rank at that time) The winner in Education Branch in “The Project of Audiobook to Fulfil Learning Imagination to The Blind”

“The Project of Audiobook to Fulfi l Learning Imagination to The Blind” is a project that students (at that time) integrated their knowledge from the classes to the young people who have the problem with their eye sight. This project hope to help develop the teaching and learning system, and to provide equipment to the Lampang Eye Foundation and Lampang School for The Blind. The project will help the young blind to have learning equipment to help their learning development. The students of the Rajamagala University of Technology Lanna in Lampang Province, therefore, develop the audiobooks for the visual impaired people from Kindergarten level to Grade 3 to stimulate their imagination and to develop reading skills. The project had an opportunity to enter the competition in “The 2nd Red Bull U-Project”, and won the winner prize. The team was awarded the royal trophy from Her Royal Highness Princess Soamsawali (the royal rank at that time).

The students will share their experience in working together in this project. Let us see what are their ideas and how to work together.

Q: What is the inspiration to submit the project into this competition?

A: The beginning of the project is when the students have an opportunity to collect the data for doing the research in “The Study in Guidance of Assisted-Computer Development to Aid the Visual Impairment: The Case Study of the Lampang Eye Foundation and Lampang School for The Blind” which is in coordination with the advisor. According to the information provided by Lek Kaomheunwai, the lecturer of visual impairment of the Lampang Eye Foundation and Lampang School for The Blind in the competency of learning media, it found that audiobook is necessary to the study and the living of the visual impaired people. In present, the Lampang Eye

Foundation and Lampang School for The Blind uses two types of audiobooks that are Electronic Audiobook with Daisy System, and Audiobook on the internet of the Media Learning Center for Disabled. These two types of media are difference. The Daisy System is the system which the visual impaired people can search and control the reading by themselves; however, its limit is the price of the Daisy System is quite high. It is also used particularly in the school. The contents of audiobooks emphasize on teaching and learning in classes. The other system, audiobook on the internet, is website gathering all media for disabled which is divided into categories.

These media are audio for reading; therefore, the data of the audios contain in large size of the files. There is a timeline so that the users can either stop or replay the audios anytime. The limit of this audio type is that the users need to use mouse to control the timeline. This may cause the visual impaired people cannot control with their voices; therefore, there is someone such as a lecturer to help them control the timeline.

The team of students has an idea to apply the contexts of Physics to develop audiobooks for the visual impaired people from Kindergarten level to Grade 3 to stimulate their imagination and to develop reading skills.

This project is in coordination with the project advisor to submit the project into the competition in “The 2nd Red Bull U-Project” in Education Branch.

Q: Expectations of benefits and outcomes A: The idea of doing the project at that time is what we can help the visual impaired people have learning media to stimulate their imagination of those people. For the group of visual impaired people, they cannot wake up with seeing the view of blue sky of the new day. They can only hear and touch those things by using their imagination. After we submit the project to the competition in Red Bull U-Project of Red Bull Company Limited, there are many people think that we are crazy (laughing). They do not think that the company will consider to provide the financial support to the students who do the activities and have only a few pages of project proposal. It is unbelievable that we can do it. When the committee announce the result, our team is selected to be one of twenty teams of the finalists from the students across the country in 4 branches which are Agriculture, Education or Culture, Medical and Public Health, and Innovation for Community Enterprises. After that, we join the camp for learning how to do the project and how to get the budget of 300,000 Baht for doing the project.

We set our target that we will make audiobooks to give them away to the Lampang Eye Foundation and Lampang School for The Blind, Phrae Santi Jintana School for the Blind, and the Northern School for the Blind under patronage of the Queen in Chiang Mai Province. นิตยสาร ราชมงคลล้านนา 25

Hands–on Graduate photos a lot after that we need to assemble them to a set. Golf and Man, two members of the team, need to go to the blind school almost everyday to read the story’s scripts to Mr. Wichan, a teacher of the Lampang Eye Foundation and Lampang School for The Blind, so that he can help us type braille. It is very difficult to go through that point. If our team members and the lecturers of the university do not help in the production, and Mr. Wichan do not help us with the braille, we could imagine that how can we finish the project.

Q: Problems and obstacles during the competition A: The main problem of us is communication and confidence. Most of our team members are quiet persons and not talking much, but they do their job (seriously). This may be the characteristic of the IT students who might interact most with the computers. This cause that they are lack of confidence to interact with human beings (laughing). Due to having the obvious target, we have to often do a lot of practice.

The other problem is time. We are studying hard at the same time when we are doing the project. The lecturers give us a lot of lessons which make us have less time to work in the project. Therefore, it is necessary that we must be good at time management. During that time, we go back to the dormitory late every night. It is good to have social media so that we can keep communicating and discussing with any issues including solving the problems via using IT which is the way of IT students (laughing).

Q: The most difficulties in team collaboration A: The most difficulties in team collaboration is the process of low relief book production. We previously try creating the low relief photo which use the paper as the prototype (papermache), and present the product to the committee of the competition in the final round. However, the papermache does not work when it comes to the actual process due to the fact that the low relief photos that we put them in the tales are in small size and specific details. We, therefore, adjust the plan by using other waste materials; for example, fine sawdust from wooden handcrafts in Baan Luk, Mae Ta District, Lampang Province, and we try to find the perfect ratio between mixing and other materials for molding.

Moreover, the process of printing and block compression is quite difficult. Changing from the low relief photo to papermache, we need to turn the mold upside down to compress fine sawdust instead. The difficulty is how to compress fine sawdust and take them out without causing any damage, and how to mold them without any sharpness or harm to others who touch them. We have been trying in every way which it is difficult to get the answer. There are meetings in every evening which we are quite stress. Finally, we all pass that point.

This is not the end. The most difficulty of our work is the number of low relief photo. We intend to make ten stories having four scenes in each story. There are many characters in each scene. We plan to deliver this project to the three schools; consequently, we need to mold the 26 นิตยสาร ราชมงคลล้านนา

Q: How does the university support and promote the competition?

A: The university promoted and supported us in the facilities and utilities. We would like to thank to the management team, lecturers, and staff of the Rajamagala University of Technology Lanna in Lampang Province including our friends who come to support us and to be volunteers for media production. We would like to express special thank to our project advisor who helps and supports us in all matters including giving some advice and solving the problems together.

Q: What do you have earned from the competition besides the award?

A: Firstly, it is the pride (smile). We are so proud of having the opportunity to make this creative activity for the society by making learning media to the visual impaired students. The Gaochompor team and volunteers has applied their knowledge in graphic, information technology, and arts to make learning media for the young blind.

The media which we make are just low relief book for the ordinary people, but they are like the models of materials, animals, and general things in their hands. Some items are dangerous to the young blind and they cannot touch, but they can learn from the learning media in audiobooks having both low relief photos and braille. These audiobooks will help them learning touching skills and reading along with the voice of tales which help their listening skills developed. These audiobooks will be media which inspire imagination to the young blind.

Secondly, we gain the team work experience. We delegate the tasks to each member of the team. We learn how to plan and solve the problem in every day because what we are doing is very delicate and handmade in

every step. It is not easy to find the mixture of materials which can be molded. Although it takes some time, but everyone in the team including the volunteers suggest some advice to us. We learn to listen to other opinions and solve the problems together to finish the project and achieve the goal.

Lastly, we are in coordination with the Public Relations team to build a small record room for working.

When the project finished, we give the room away to the university so that the lecturers and students including relevant departments or units can benefit for their teaching and learning management.

Q: What are the messages that you would like to pass on to the people who have dream or want to success?

A: We wants to tell everyone that “first step leads to the next ones”. We never think that we will come this far. It is just because we have a dream and we have courage to do it. We will on the half way of success. If you ask us about the problems and obstacles in working in this project, we will say “definitely yes”. However, we can come across those problems and obstacles with our strong will if we see them as the challenges and it is worth to fight for. When we look back at the beginning of the project, we will proudly stand tall if you pass at that point.

Q: What experience do you gain in participating the activity / the competition / the representatives?

A: What we have learned from the project is “friendship”.

No matter it will be the friendship from team colleagues, the

project advisor, and all supporters who encourage us. The other thing that we unintentionally get from the competition is “giving to others”. We are happy every time to see their smiles. It is unbelievable that our hands can pass the happiness forwards to the young.

Q: What are the messages that you would like to pass on to the next generation or student representatives?

A: Actually, the definition of success has different meanings for different people. All of us can design our own success, but we have never known what we will experience on the way to our achievement. Whatever will happen, we just need courage to try doing new things which benefits the most people and do not harm cause any troubles to others.

That is the beginning of success. If we only think, it will be only our thought. Many people told themselves that they could not it. We will never know what we can do until we do it. We just want to courage all of you to try doing new things because we may get the better results than we think.

The destination of success in the competition is the award, friendship, and experience of working together as a team that we would not have in the classes. Above of all, the greatest achievement is to apply the project to make benefits and smiles to the people of society. World Skills Competition:

The Stage of Creating World-Class Skilled Labor If we speak about the biggest stage of labor competition, it is definitely the stage of World Skills Competition held

by World Skills International or the previous called International Vocational Training Organization (IVTO). This is to realize the importance of skills and standard of high-skilled labor of human resources. These would affect success in economy. The competition in international labor skills is the world biggest stage for showing off your potential. There are more than a thousand of international youth attend in the competition.

World Skills is the stage which gives students an opportunity to

present their potential of labor skills development. The objective of labor skills development is to create a path of success to craftsmen. Students of Rajamagala University of Technology had an opportunity to attend the competitions more than ten years, and they were the representatives to join the international competitions (World Skills Competition) for four times. The students carried out many works and honor.

Today, we are going to talk about those of their paths of success.

Mr.Jakkarin Tinnakorn, the lecturer in Mechatronics Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, was one of the founding team members.

Q: The beginning of encouraging the students to attend the competition A: It started from the point that I wanted students to show their vocational potential they learned in Mechatronics because the university provided effective learning equipment to the students so that they could use them in the competition. I also wanted the students to open their world and to meet new friends from other institutes and foreigners. It was important that the students could apply what they learned in the classes to the competition, to develop themselves, and to share their knowledge and experience to the

students in the next generation.

Q: How does the advisor support or encourage the students do to achieve their goals?

A: I always supported the students in all equipment for practice during the time of the rehearsal preparation. The most important points were that to give them encouragement and to find techniques and to help them practiced with new techniques. The students would have opportunities to try doing new things so that they could reduce chances of mistakes which could happen in the competition. I reminded the students to think of their goals and to extend experience from the competition to improve themselves in their works. They could also forward their inspiration to the junior students who wanted to follow their paths.

“Building the team of students for competition preparation was not easy. It required time and patience. We were not the expert ones, but we had to put an effort to build this team to achieve the highest goal. We wanted to see the day that our students standing on the stage and won the winner prize. There was the university’s logo showed on the top to announce that we were from RMUTL.”.

“The students joining the team were the students in my classes. The

responsibilities were to practice, to understand what is the objective of the challenge, and to improve English skills. The students sometimes wanted to go out, to hang out with their friend, and to relax. Being a coach, I had to give them some advice and directions.

I had to encourage them to see the success at the end of the destination.

I needed to build up their confidence that one day they would see the paths of success clearer.”.

“Did I think of leaving the team? I confessed that there were many times that I was very tired and exhausted, but I reminded myself that I grew up and graduated from here. I had an opportunity to study and come back to work here because I wanted to make the reputation to the university. This was an opportunity that I could train the students and took them to attend the competition until they won the award. When the students walked to me and told me that they did it. I was very proud of them. They had been working and practicing so hard for a year.

I was glad to be a part of their success.

Being the project advisor, you must sacrifice your own time and own funds.

However, it was worth to see the success at the end of the destination.”.

Mr.Pathipan Huangsorn,a

representative of Mechatronics Major, winning the award for Mechatronics in the 43rd World Skills at Sao Paolo, Brazil, shared his experience to us that “In the competition, we had well-prepared ourselves. It was diffi cult that we would never know the challenge what we had to do in advance. All team competitors would know together on that day. That year was the first year that we were the representatives attending in World Skills. We did not have senior students who experienced in the competitions to share us the guidance and techniques. However, we did our best in the competition and we won the excellence award in Mechatronics from the competition. I was very proud of the award which I won it and could make the reputation for being a representative on behalf of the Rajamagala University of Technology Lanna. The most important was the value experiences from the competition which I could share to the junior students in the next generation.

The junior students, who wanted to learn and experience the same as what we did, should pay attention to their practice, to be disciplined, and to be patient to keep doing what we did until we were expert. During the competition, there was no one could help us even นิตยสาร ราชมงคลล้านนา 31

though the project advisor who had been teaching us. It was only ourselves and our own experience we practiced to help us out. I believed that all of you could do it if you had your strong intention and determined effort. The success would definitely not be out of our reach.”.

Mr. Tarayut Kittiwararat, the lecturer in Mechatronics Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, was another important member of the founding team.

“A problem which we always had was about the new technology. The host had been using the new technology in the competition each time. The students needed to have more time to study the new technology which they had to use in the competition. This could affect the students’ problem -solving skill and their performance. The other issue which we had been trying to improve for many years was communication in English. When the referees explained the challenge in the competition, the

students could not understand what they meant. When the students did not understand the details of the challenge, this would affect to how they could work with the project. If anything goes wrong, it means the result of the competition. Currently, our students who attended the rehearsal preparation had also studied more in communicative English. This course was a part of skill development. Not only could the students expertly solve the problems of the challenge, but they also needed to be able to communicate well to others during the competition. Hopefully, English practice would help.”, “Finally, we wanted to thank you the university to support us and our students as the representatives to attend in the competitions more than ten years. The university also supported facilities and equipment to the students. With full support of the

university, the students could do their practice after the classes, and the lecturers could observe both of the domestic and international competitions so that the lecturers could apply the techniques to adapt to the next competitions.”.

The stage of WORLD SKILLS is the stage to inspire self-development, learning, and attempt to show their potential for being skilled labors on the global stage. In the past, the students’ projects guaranteed that this educational institute still insisted on supporting the students to become the practical ones having expert in vocational skills. It has been over the past ten years that the students of RMUTL had an opportunity to represent their abilities in the P c ging o etition in Th il nd nd i .

The performance of the students of of RMUTL was lw on the to on thi t ge.

The competition in packaging design was in cooperation with the Division II of Sectoral Industries Development in Department of Industrial Promotion, the Thai Packaging Association, and Thai Corrugated Packaging Association. These sectors established the competition to encourage all designers to develop their skills in design packaging, to promote the international export of Thai products, to raise the standard of Thai packaging to international standard, and to be the representative of Thailand to submit Thai packaging to the international competition.

The section of Packaging and Printing Industrial Development, Division II of Sectoral Industries Development in Department of Industrial Promotion held the activities to support those activities by holding the annual competition in Thai packaging in coordination with private sectors and educational institutes which related to packaging under the different themes in each year. The winners whose their packaging won the award would be considered to be the representatives of Thailand to attend the Asia Packaging competition (Asia Star) in the future. s asithorn Thongpremchit the advisor having specialist experience more than ten years in packaging industry and maintain the standard of our packaging, told us that “Department of Printing and Packaging Technology had the policy which always supported the students to submit the project to the competition in ASIA STAR Awards. This is because the major of Printing and Packaging Technology wanted to encourage all of the third-year and fourth-year students to have an opportunity to attend the annual competition project in packaging, and to be representatives of Thailand to attend the Asia competition. This was an important opportunity that the students could perform their abilities and potential which the lecturers would give them some advice and suggestion from procurement, design the prototype of the packaging, and design the packaging for each student. These processes would help students learned and improved their potential. The students would learn from hands-on, practical training by adopting the theories into their design, solving the problems, testing, and actual practice. The competition was for representative selection of Thailand. The winner may not win the Asia competition.

Therefore, we would try to be the winner of Thailand so that we could be the representative to attend the Asia competition. Working in the project, the advisor and students would emphasize on getting experience from the competition in previous years including the mistakes to improve and to find the ways to design the packaging based on the annual challenge. To be the winner of the competition, it depended on the packaging which was designed whether it met the conditions of the challenge or not.”. iss u imol nruen or ay the winner of the award in Asia Start 2015 from the competition in ASIA STAR Awards in 2015 at Istanbul, Turkey in the project of COCONUT SHELL LAMP. She told us that “I was very proud of myself to make the reputation to the university and my family. I also applied all of my knowledge I learned to perform my ability. I would use this award to inspire and to create new better packaging design.”. iss aroya un ai or Buay, the winner of the award in Asia Start 2015 from the competition in ASIA STAR Awards 2015 at Istanbul, Turkey in the

project of RESIN DOLLS. She told her impression to our team that “Chiang Mai Province had varieties of handcrafts which had differences of uniqueness. Resin dolls were the beautiful and quaint products which could tell the clear stories themselves. The resin dolls were products which could develop to add more value and to differentiate themselves from other products.”.

This product was the one making me proud because it made the reputation to the Department of Printing and Packaging Technology and the university.

Having inspiration in working the project led us to perform good performance. The guidance from the lecturers also made our performance to be more perfect. To be the representatives of Thailand attending the Asia competition made us to be proud of ourselves, the Department of Printing and Packaging Technology and the university which we could present our potential for creating the project and developing all knowledge we learned to apply for the project. nd oo iss etnapha Tichachat the winner of the award in Asia Star 2015 from the competition in ASIA STAR Awards 2015 at Istanbul, Turkey in the project of LUCKY STONE JEWELRY. She forwarded the message to you that “This competition showed the others that we had potential to perform the project which we spent time and put a lot of effort on each product. We adapted knowledge learned from the lecturers and suggestions from senior students and friends for solving the problems. These help the process of the project successfully completed. The product which we won the award in this competition made me, my family, and the Faculty of Arts and Architecture, Rajamagala University of Technology Lanna proud.

In the future, we would share experience we gained to develop in extension to be representatives to submit the packaging design to the world competition (World Star); and also, we would extend knowledge to the next generation to develop and support all designers to improve their packaging design to step up into the global level.”.

Based on my experience, we learned many things more than ten years all the ways through from the project which we submitted to the competition. All stages of doing the project taught us to create learning process, creativity, and opportunity for students to have their own spaces to show their potential presenting the abilities of being students of Rajamagala University of Technology Lanna. To remain the standard of packaging to be the frontline of the country, it was not easy, but it was challenging.

There were new designers who showed up in the industry every year which students learned through learning process, analysis to be the next qualified and practical graduated students in the industry of packaging of Thailand.

หากพูดถึงวงการกี าวอลเลยบ อลในประเทศไทยนับวาเปนกี าทีไ่ ดรบั ความ สนใจมากประเภทหนึ่ง ในระยะเวลา ปที่ผานมา วงการกี าวอลเลยบอลมีการผลัก ดันเพือ่ ใหเกิดการพั นาอยางตอเนือ่ ง ทัง้ ในระดับทีมชาติทมี่ จี ดั การแขงขันอยางตอเนือ่ ง รวมถึงการจัดการแขงขันวอลเลยบอลชายไทยแลนดลกี ซึง่ เปนการแขงขันวอลเลยบอล ลีกอาชีพ ระดับสูงสุดของประเทศไทย กอตั้งขึ้นในป พ ศ 25 ภายใตการบริหารของ สมาคมกี าวอลเลยบอลแหงประเทศไทย และบริษทั ไทยวอลเลยบอล จํากัด ซึง่ ปจจุบนั มีทีมเขาแขงขันทั้งหมด 8 ทีม และหนึ่งในนั้นคือทีมสโมสรวอลเลยบอลราชมงคลลาน นา พิษณุโลก โดยผูเ ลนสวนหนึง่ เปนนักศึกษาของมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลลาน นา พิษณุโลก โดยเขารวมการแขงขันครั้งแรก ในป พ ศ 255 ซึ่งในปนั้นโชวผลงาน ยอดเยีย่ มไดรบั รางวัลแชมปวอลเลยบ อลไทยแลนดลกี ซึง่ ถือเปนการผสมผสานตัวแทน นักศึกษาที่มีความสามารถดานกี ารวมทีมและมีผลงานโดดเดนจนไดรับโอกาสติดทีม ชาติไทยชุดใหญสรางชือ่ เสียงใหกบั มหาวิทยาลัย นักศึกษาทีมนีน้ อกจากจะทําหนาทีใ่ น การเรียนแลวตองแบงหนาที่ในการเปนนักกี าอาชีพทําหนาที่สองสิ่งในเวลาเดียวกัน จนวันนีเ้ รามีบณ ั ฑิตนักกีฬาทีส่ าํ เร็จการศึกษาแลว ฉบับนีเ้ ราจะไปติดตามเสนทาง ความสําเร็จของทีมสโมสรวอลเลยบอลราชมงคลลานนา พิษณุโลก กันวาทีมนี้มีจุดเริ่มตน อยางไรและเปาหมายตอไปเปนอยางไร คนแรกคือผูจัดการทีม รศ.เดชา นาวานุเคราะห

Q: อยากทราบจุดเริ่มตนของทีมวอลเลยบอล ราชมงคลลานนา วาเปนมายังไงถึงเกิดเปนทีม นี้ขึ้นมา A: ทีมวอลเลยบอลราชมงคลลานนา เริม่ ตนครัง้ แรก ในป 2557 ตอนนั้นมีนักกีฬา 4 คน คือ นรา จันทร แกว, อมรเทพ คนหาญ, ณัฐพล คําเบา และธน ศักดิ์ ปาสานะเต ซึ่งทุกคนเปนนักศึกษาของ มทร. ลานนา พิษณุโลก ในขณะเดียวกัน ทั้ง 4 คนก็เปน นักกีฬาใหกับสโมสรวอลเลยบอล วิง 46 พิษณุโลก มหาวิทยาลัยจึงไดสรางความรวมมือและเขาไป สนับสนุนสโมสรดังกลาวจนไดแชมปวอลเลยบอล อาชีพไทยแลนดลีก หลังจากนั้นก็เริ่มมีนักกีฬา เขามาศึกษาตอใน มทร.ลานนา พิษณุโลกเพิ่ม ขึ้น โดยทีมนี้ก็ไดลงแขงขันในรายการตาง ๆ ของ มหาวิทยาลัยฯ ซึ่งไดรางวัลชนะเลิศหลายรายการ รวมถึงเหรียญทองแดงในกีฬามหาวิทยาลัยฯ รอบ มหกรรม ที่มหาวิทยาลัยสุรนารี หากจะนับผล งานที่ยอดเยี่ยมแลวก็มีรางวัลชนะเลิศและเหรียญ ทอง ในการแขงขันกีฬามหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยี ราชมงคลแหงประเทศไทย 3 ป ติดตอกัน และ กีฬามหาวิทยาลัยแหงประเทศไทย รอบมหกรรม “ราชภัฏอุบลราชธานีเกมส” และทีส่ าํ คัญเราภูมใิ จ ทีม่ นี กั กีฬาทีเ่ ปนนักศึกษาของเราไดมโี อกาสติดทีม ชาติชดุ ใหญไปแขงขันในรายการตางๆสรางชือ่ เสียง ใหมหาวิทยาลัยใหเปนที่รูจักมากขึ้น

Q: อาจารยตั้งเปาหมายในการสรางทีมไวอยางไร : “ปจจุบันมีนักกีฬาบางสวนจบการศึกษาไปแลว ทาง มทร.ลานนา พิษณุโลก กับสโมสรจึงไดสรางนักกีฬาขึน้ มาทดแทน โดยไดนกั ศึกษามา จากโรงเรียนกีฬาจังหวัดพิษณุโลก ทีเ่ ขามาศึกษาตอกับเรา ซึง่ มทร.ลาน นา พิษณุโลก ยังคงรวมมือกับสโมสรฯ ฝกซอมและสนับสนุนใหนกั ศึกษา ไดมโี อกาสเขารวมแขงขันในรายการตาง ๆ อยางตอเนือ่ งหากถามถึงเปา หมายในการทําทีมก็อยากใหทมี นีป้ ระสบความสําเร็จทัง้ ในดานของการ แขงขันกีฬาและในดานของนักศึกษาทีต่ อ งสําเร็จการศึกษาดวย อยากให ทีมนีเ้ ปนตนแบบของวามพยายามและความรับผิดชอบ หากเรามีความ ตั้งใจและพยายามทําหนาที่อยางเต็มความสามารถความสําเร็จก็คงอยู ไมไกลเกินฝน อยางวันนี้ เรามีรุนพี่นักกีฬา เชนนาราและณัฐพล ซึ่งจบ การศึกษาเปนบัณฑิตไปแลวสองคนนี้ก็เปนตัวอยางที่แสดงใหเห็นแลว วา เคาทําหนาทีข่ องเคาไดอยางดีเยีย่ มและเชือ่ มัน่ วาหากทุกคนมีความ ตั้งใจก็ไมยากเกินความสามารถ” Q: ขอยอนกลับไปเมื่อประมาณสี่ปที่แลววาทําไมอาจารยถึงเลือก เปนจะสรางทีมวอลเลยบอล : Wกอนอืน่ ตองบอกกอนวาแตเดิมผมเปนนักกีฬาวอลเลยบอลของรา ชมงคลอยูแ ลว สมัยนัน้ เรียกวา กีฬาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีและอาชีวศึกษา เริ่มเลนใหกับเกษตรปทุมธานี ในครั้งที่ 1 และ 2 และเมื่อไดมาบรรจุ รั บ ราชการที่ จั ง หวั ด พิ ษ ณุ โ ลก ก็ ไ ด ม าเป น ผู ฝ ก สอนให กั บ นั ก กี ฬ า วอลเลยบอลของที่นี่ จริงๆก็คือมีใจรักในกีฬาวอลเลยบอลเปนทุนเดิม อยูแลวครับและคิดวา มทร.ลานนา พิษณุโลกเรามีศักยภาพในการทํา ทีมเลยอยากสรางทีมนี้ใหมีชื่อเสียงเปนที่รูจักสวนหนึ่งก็จะไดรองรับ นองๆนักกีฬาที่กําลังมองหาที่เรียนไดเขามาศึกษาตอที่นี่ เพราะจะได เรียนไปดวยเลนกีฬาควบคูกันไปดวย” นิตยสาร ราชมงคลล้านนา 45

Q: ความภาคภูมิใจที่มีตอทีมวอลเลยบอล A: “ผมมองถึงการสรางวินัยใหกับนักศึกษาโดยใชกีฬามาเปนสื่อ นักกีฬาทุกคนในทีมวอลเลยบอลมีระเบียบวินัย และความรับผิดชอบ มาก ในแตละวันของเขา เริ่มตั้งแตการตื่นนอน เขาจะตื่นตั้งแต05.00 น. เพื่อฝกซอม และเวลา 07.00 น.อาบนํ้าแตงตัวไปเรียนหนังสือตอ และกลับมาฝกซอมตอในชวงเวลา 17.00 - 20.00 น. ซึ่งพวกเขาแทบ ไมมีเวลาไปเที่ยวเตรเลย ผมจึงภูมิใจที่เห็นพวกเขาทุกคนมีหนวยงาน ราชการมารองรับการทํางาน หลังจากจบการศึกษา และมีอาชีพติดตัว และบางคนไดเปนนักกีฬาทีมชาติ รวมไปถึงการสรางชือ่ เสียงใหกบั มหา วิทยาลัยฯ และครอบครัวดวยเชนกัน”

Q: อาจารยมองอนาคตของทีมนี้ไวอยางไรตอไป : “ผมยั ง คงมุ ง มั่ น ที่ จ ะสร า งนั ก ศึ ก ษาที่ มี ใ จรั ก ในการเล น กี ฬ า วอลเลยบอลตอไป ถึงแมวาจะติดปญหาบาง เชน เรื่องทุนการศึกษา ผูสนับสนุนทีมซึ่งมหาวิทยาลัยก็พยายามหาแหลงทุนมาใหนักศึกษา เพื่ออนาคตของนักศึกษาซึ่งจะพยายามผลักดันอยางเต็มความสามารถ เพราะอยางนอยทีมวอลเลยบ อลนีก้ เ็ ปนสิง่ สานตอความฝนของนักเรียน นักศึกษาทีม่ คี วามตัง้ ใจและมุง มัน่ เพราะผมเชือ่ วาความสําเร็จของบัณฑิต นักปฏิบตั ทิ มี่ าจากทีมวอลเลยบ อลจะเปนสิง่ สะทอนใหเห็นวาพวกเคาไม ไดเกงดานวิชาการเพียงอยางเดียวแตยงั มีประสบการณชวี ติ ทีไ่ ดมาจาก สนามแขงขันกีฬาที่พวกเคาจะนําไปปรับใชในอนาคตและเปนกําลังที่ สําคัญของประเทศชาติตอไป”

Volleyball Club

of the RMUTL

Volleyball is a kind of sports which is considered as one of the most popular sports. In the past ten years, the volleyball society had been continuously developed both in national level having ongoing competitions and Male Volleyball Thailand League. These were the professional volleyball leagues in highest rank of Thailand established in 2006 which were under the management of Thailand Volleyball Association and Thai Volleyball Company Limited.

In present, there are eight teams attending the competitions.

One of them is the team of Volleyball Club of the RMUTL Phitsanulok. A part of the players were the students of the 50 นิตยสาร ราชมงคลล้านนา

RMUTL Phitsanulok taking part in the first competition in 2014. In that year, they delivered an excellent performance and awarded the Volleyball Championship Thailand League which were the combination of talented students in sports and outstanding performance. They had an opportunity to join the main Thai national team to make the reputation for the university. Not only were the students of the team responsible for their study, but they also needed to manage the time to be professional athletes which they needed to do these two things at the same time.

We have so far had many athletes who graduated.

In this issue, we will pursue the path of success in the Volleyball Club of the RMUTL Phitsanulok Province. It is the time to explore how the club formed and what is the future goal. The rst one is the Team Manager, oci te Pro e or ech n roh.

Q: an you tell me the beginning of the volleyball team of the a amangala ni versity of Technology anna? o can this team be formed?

A: “The volleyball team of the Rajamagala University of Technology Lanna began in 2014. The team had 4 athletes who were Nara Chankaew, Amornthep Khonharn, Natthaphol Khambao, and Thanasak Pasanatae. All of them were the students of the Rajamagala University of Technology Lanna in Phitsanulok Province. At the same time, all of these four students were the athletes of the Volleyball Club Wing 46 Phitsanulok.

The university promoted cooperation and announced support to the club which led to the Volleyball Championship of Thailand League. After that, there were an increase in the number of athletes started coming to study in the Rajamagala University of Technology Lanna in Phitsanulok Province. The team entered several competitions of the university which won many awards including the bronze medal in the exhibition round of the university’s sports at Suranaree University of Technology. For the excellent record, there were Championship and the gold medal in the university’s sports of the Rajamagala University of Technology consecutively for three years, and the University Games of Thailand in exhibition round at “Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University Game”.

The most importance was that we were proud of our athletes who were our students.

They had opportunity to join in the national team to participate in many competitions to gain reputation to the university.”.

Q: What is the goal of forming this team? : “In present, some athletes graduated. The Rajamagala University of Technology in Phitsanulok Province and the club created new athletes to replace the ones graduated. The undergraduate students from the Sport School of Phitsanulok continue their study with us. The Rajamagala University of Technology in Phitsanulok Province is still in coordination with the volleyball club and to support the students to have an opportunity to continuously take part in several competitions. If the goals of the team have been asked, we wish the team to succeed in both sport competition and in their graduation. We want the team to be a role model of attempt and responsibility. If we have intended and tried to do our best to all responsibilities, the success is not too far to reach. Today, we have the senior athletes; for example, Nara and Natthaphol, who were graduated students. They are the role models showing that they did the best for their responsibilities. They also believed that the ones having strong intention to do something will succeed.”.

Q: Why did you form this volleyball team since the last four years?

A: “Previously, I was a volleyball player of the Rajamagala which it was called Sports of Technology and Vocational Education. I started playing with Pathum Thani Provincial Agriculture Office in the first and the second time. When I was assigned to the post in

Hands–on Graduate Phitsanulok Province, I became the trainer to the volleyball players here. I truly love playing volleyball. I think the Rajamagala University of Technology in Phitsanulok has potential in forming the team. Therefore, I intend to support this team to gain reputation and to be well known so that the team can support athletes who are looking for the place to study to be the students here. The athletes studying here will study and play sports together.”.

Q: The proud of the volleyball team : “I want to make students to have discipline by using sports as a medium. All athletes in the volleyball team must have discipline and high responsibility in their routine. In each day, they wake up at 5 a.m. to practice, and take a shower at 7 a.m. after that they will get dress and go to study. They will start practicing after the school from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. They rarely have time for a break. I am so proud of them that they all have an opportunity to work in government agencies after they graduate, and have their own careers.

Some of them have become sport players of the national team. They also make the reputation for the university and their families.”.

Hands–on Graduate in Phitsanulok Province has been continuously supported in the place for competition, the training place including the students who are the athletes of the club holding the competitions during the school term. The university supports the studying hours so that the athletes could finish their graduation in time and could fully spend their time on playing the sports. Today, we see that our students in the first badge who are the athletes has already graduated. This means the students could do both in studying and playing sports at the same time. The university supports students who are interested in joining the team. They can apply to study in the fields of their interests which the university will provide fully support to them.”.

Mr. Nara Chankaew, a newly graduated student, Major in Management, Faculty of Business Administration and Liberal Arts, the University of Rajamagala University of Lanna, was a former athlete of male volleyball in the national team in the Male Volleyball Competition in Asia for aged not over 23 years, the Universiade in 2014, and Championship in the 45th University Games of Thailand.

Q: n your opinion hat is the future of the team? : “I still intend to create students who love playing volleyball. Even though there are some issues such as, scholarship, the team supporter which the university has tried to provide the financial sources to the students for their future. I will try the best because the volleyball team is at least a dream for the talented students who have pay attention and attempt to do something. I believed that the success of practical graduates in the volleyball team will show that they are not only good at academic field, but they also have life experience gained from the competitions.

Finally, they can adapt and apply in their future and be an important factor to develop country in the future.”.

Q: What do you plan to do ith the volleyball after you graduate in the future? : “After graduated, I pay attention more about the family business regarding the accommodation in Phetchabun Province. However, I have not yet abandoned playing volleyball.”.

Q: What experience do you gain hile you are an athlete? : “Actually, we have to thank to being athletes because professional athlete makes us to have more discipline and responsibility. It is a very hard time when we need to study and be an athlete at the same time. We need to practice in every morning and evening, and need to go the study during the day. We have to attend every class and need to submit all assignments to the lecturers. It can be said that we are tired and feel it doubled when compared to our friends. My mother is worried and afraid that I could not study properly, but we proved that the result of our study was not bad. My mother gives me an opportunity to continue playing sports.

Today, I am proud of our capability that I could succeed in everything I did. Many team members have already employed and obtained the military rank although they have not graduated yet, meaning that many of them have good opportunity from playing volleyball.”. นิตยสาร ราชมงคลล้านนา 53

A: “I would like to share to everyone who has the same dream as mine that being an athlete and a student at the same time is not easy. You must have more responsibility than other peoples because an athlete is needed to be punctual, disciplined, and responsible. I believed that whoever you are – either an academic student or an activity student, and an athlete, you just need to fully pay attention and focus on your responsibilities. The capability of having responsibility and time management is important, and success is not far away from your dream.

After that, you will go to classes from 8.30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

During the day, you will have to finish the assignments or projects assigned by the lecturers and do not procrastinate. We need to do practice again from 4.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Lastly, we can have some rest for relaxing to be ready for the next day.

Today, I am so proud that I graduated from this institute. I think that this place is a warm big family for life in university. I will apply a wide knowledge of my courses to my family business both in marketing plan in accommodation, work management, and living everyday life.”.

Amornthape Khonharn or June is a person who the Volleyball Club of the Rajamalaga University of Technology Lanna in Phitsanulok Province is very proud of him. He is an athlete in the national team who has a bright future and shows his talent in several competitions.

He is currently studying in the Faculty of Business Administration and Liberal Arts, Majoring in Management, the Rajamagala University of Technology Lanna in Phitsanulok Province.

Q: o can you manage the time to study and to practice volleyball?

A: Both study and sport are the things that help people get developed to acquire knowledge and capability to achieve the goal of our future. Being a “good athlete” must strictly have discipline in time management. For example, you wake up at 5.30 a.m. to prepare yourself, and to practice sport between 6 a.m. and 7.30 a.m.

Q: une has succeeded in a step of being an athlete What ould you li e to tell the unior athletes?

Anyone who is interested in sports and would like to be a part of the Volleyball Club of the Rajamagala University of Technology Lanna in Phitsanulok Province can joint the team. Anyone who loves playing sports and wants to improve their skills can be a part of the team to strengthen the team together.

Hands–on Graduate The traditional rowing competition in Nan Province is an old tradition which Nan’s ancestors has inherited from generation to the next for the long time. The people of Nan has connected to aga which they believe that Naga will protect the ancient sites, temples, and sacred things.

This is the reason that the boat has been decorated on the head, the tail, and the body of the boat to be similar as Naga. The ancestors of Nan would take the boat out to row in the river if the year had a drought or no rain.

This is a traditional metaphor that Nagas were playing in the water. To beg for the rain for the rowing competition in Nan Province in the past, there was a tradition called Tan uay ala estival When the temples or villages held the rowing competition, the Tan Kuay Salak Festival would also be held. The faculty of faith in villages and communities having boats would take them out to join the competition in Tan Kuay Salak Festival along with the people, novices, and monks travelling to the temples holding the Tan Kuay Salak Festival. The transportation in the past was not as convenient as in the present; therefore, the rowing competition in Nan Province could be proved with concrete evidences since 1917. When the Prince of Nakhon Sawan travelled to governmental inspection in Nan, the rulers of Nan have been following the tradition up until nowadays.

The boat team of Mae Pom – Yaa Sang Lui, Nan Province, is a 30-row small long boat with the length of 11 wah, 2 sok, 9 inches. The age of the boat was longer than ten years. It was bought from Baan Boon Yuen, Wiang Sa District, Nan Province on 31st December 2009 at 250,000

Baht. The body of the boat itself was made of golden iron wooden and teak (Ta Khien Thong and Mai Sak). The previous version of the boat was decorated by a talented engraver named Mr. Sanguan Soonnoppha.

In 1990, Mr. Ood and Mr. Lek, who were the other two engravers from Nhong Daeng, decorated more on the boat. The boat has inherited for many generations. Firstly, Mr. Sakmongkholchai (also known as Sia Lek) in Ayutthaya Province named the boat as Thep Sip Song Ra Sri. Secondly, Sia Kheng, the owner of Naa Nang in Nan Province, named the boat as Sorn Sawan 2 (Sriboonrueng and Theppabutrboonyuen Boonyuen). Finally, Mr. Athipat Saisoong in Nan Province who is the current owner and name the boat as Mae Pom Yaa Sang Lui until now. The boat team of Mae Pom Rajamagala is in coordination among three sections which are the boat team of Mae Pom – Yaa Sang Lui; Rowing Section of Nan Province, Rajamagala University of Technology Lanna in Nan Province having the alumni as the rowers and crew team; and the current students, lecturers, and staff of RMUTL, Nan. Additionally, Mr. Athipat Saisoong is one of the founding committee of Nan Province Rowing Association and Rowing Section of Nan Province. The meaning of the boat Mae Pom’s ag means auspicious which it means RMUTL, Nan (previously called Kaset Nan). The university emphasises on making more practical graduated students to truly meet the need of the community local area. The phrase Yaa Sang Lui means to go out and fully be responsible for your duties, to make the reputation to Nan Province. The outstanding performance of the boat team Mae Pom – Yaa Sang Lui has been recorded as follows:

The team won the first prize of the competition over 100 teams of undergraduate students across the nation and awarded them the scholarship of 15,000 Baht including a study trip to Alibaba Group in The People’s Republic of China.

I am a lecturer teaching Online Marketing. I heard the news from the Department of Business Development, Ministry of Commerce that they had invited undergraduate students to submit the project of the online business model of community products by BDB for presentation. So, I suggested the undergraduate students to submit the project to this competition. I and the students did not expect to receive this award. I just only needed the students to be courage, to be creative, to be assertive, to meet new friends, and to gain experience in team work, to be more responsible, and to pull out their efficiency.”.

Wipa ee avichai an undergraduate student in Marketing, had her opinions about this competition that “To send the project into this competition, we learned how to solve the problem and how to adapt the plan before the day of the presentation. The day before the project presentation, all groups had received some advice and suggestions from the specialists to make the plans to be more perfect. We also received more comments from the specialists that we needed to adjust the plan as they suggested within a night. Finally, the MK RMUTL Team would like to convey the message to teenagers who wants to succeed that you should pay attention to your study and listen to what the lecturers teach you, and do your responsibilities the best. You should open your eyes for new information and knowledge to open the world and also, always develop yourselves and explore new experience. Please do not give up and always make good relationships to other people.

พระราโชวาท สมเด็จพระกนิษฐาธิราชเจา กรมสมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดา ฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี “คนเราไมควรตั้งเปาหมายใหสูงเกินกวาศักยภาพที่มีอยู ตอเมื่อใดไดสรางเสริม ศักยภาพใหพัฒนากาวหนาขึ้นแลว จึงคอยตั้งเปาหมายที่สูงขึ้นเปนลําดับไป ขอนี้ ขาพเจาใครจะอธิบายเพิ่มเติมใน ๒ ประการ ประการแรก ทุกคน คงจะเห็นแลววา เปาหมายเปนสิ่งที่สามารถปรับใหสูงขึ้นไดตามลําดับขั้น ประการที่สอง ศักยภาพเปนสิ่งที่จําเปนตองไดรับการพัฒนาใหกาวหนา ยิ่ง ๆ ขึ้นไปโดยไมหยุดยั้ง เพื่อใหเปนพื้นฐานและปจจัย ใหแตละคนสามารถ ตั้งเปาหมายที่สูงขึ้นไดตามลําดับ จึงขอใหบัณฑิตพิจารณาการตั้งเปาหมาย ทั้งในชีวิตและในการงานของตน ใหทราบชัดตามเปนจริง ผูใดยังไมได ตั้งเปาหมายไว ก็ควรจะไดเริ่มตั้งใหเหมาะสม ผูใดตั้งเปาหมายไวสูงเกิน ไป หรือตําเกินไป ก็ปรับเสียใหพอดี ขอสําคัญ จะตองหมั่นสรางเสริมพัฒนา ศักยภาพของตนใหเพิ่มพูนขึ้นอยูเสมอ แตละคนก็จะมีชีวิต และกิจการงาน ที่ดีขึ้นเจริญขึ้น อันเปนผลจากการที่ไดตั้งเปาหมายอยางถูกตองไว และตั้งใจพัฒนาตนเองเพื่อใหบรรลุเปาหมายไดจริง” ความตอนหนึ่ง จากพระราโชวาท ในพิธีพระราชทานปริญญาบัตร แกผูสําเร็จการศึกษาจากมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลลานนา ประจําปการศึกษา ๒๕๖๑ วันจันทร ที่ ๑๙ สิงหาคม ๒๕๖๒ ณ มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลธัญบุรี จังหวัดปทุมธานี
