FLANDREAU SANTEE SIOUX TRIBE 2023 ELECTION NOTICE SPECIAL ELECTION - REFERENDUM
On July 26, 2023, Ryan Kills-A-Hundred (Sponsor) filed a referendum petition in accordance with Article VII, Section 1 of the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe Constitution and Title 20 of the Law and Order Code. The Tribal Secretary transmitted the petitions to the Election Board who is tasked with verifying the submission.
The Election Board found that the Petition was filed within ninety (90) days of the action in which it seeks to review, that the petitions were signed by more than thirty (30) percent of the qualified voters of the Tribe, and that the other requirements of Title 20 were satisfied. It therefore finds that the referendum petition is valid, and a Special Election must be conducted.

BACKGROUND: On Thursday, June 29, 2023, the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe Executive Committee, during a duly called meeting, removed Ryan Kills-A-Hundred as Treasurer of the Tribe with a vote of 4 for, 2 against, and 1 not voting.
REFERENDUM VOTE: Should the Executive Committee action on Thursday, June 29, 2023 to remove Ryan Kills-A-Hundred as the Treasurer of the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe be reversed?
If Yes, Ryan Kills-A-Hundred would return to the role of Treasurer for the Tribe.
If No, the decision of the Executive Committee will be upheld.

The Human Resources Clerk is responsible for various duties such as helping internal and external customers by providing advice, assistance and follow-up on company policies, procedures and documentation. Summary: FT position (40 hrs.) Monday – Friday. Assisting physician and/or mid-level in clinic environment. Rooming patients, obtaining medical histories, assessments and other nursing skills directed to direct patient care. Assists with procedures and supports specialty providers and other nursing clinical services.
Mid-Level Provider
The Flandreau Santee Sioux Health Clinic located in Flandreau, SD is seeking a primary care mid-level provider (NP OR D-NP) to join an existing practice of primary care providers including one Family Medicine Physician and two Nurse Practitioners. The Tribal Health Center was built in 2017 and provides patients with urgent care, imaging, onsite CT, full pharmacy, laboratory, case management, optical, dental and an experienced clinical team.

Position offers:
Outpatient care in medical home model
Education/Training: Graduate of an accredited LPN program. Possession of a valid and current CPR certification. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Basic computer skills.
Provide a full spectrum of medical practice (adults and pediatrics)
M-F 8-5 schedule
No weekend and no call
Must submit to pre-employment drug and alcohol testing and P.L. 101-630 background investigation. Must have a valid drivers’ license.
