FLANREAU SANTEE SIOUX TRIBAL LONG TERM CARE FACILITY

Business Office Manager/HR Generalist
Summary: this is a full-time 40 hours a week position located at the FSST Long Term Care Facility. This position provides support for the Nursing Home Administrator who is responsible for the strategic and day to day operations of the Care facility. BOM provides principal office management, principal accounting practices and Human Resource Generalist functions for the Care facility. Answers calls and inquiries directed to the business office. The HR Generalist position provides support to the FSST Human Resource department in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. The HR Generalist will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities in coordination with the Tribal HR department. Must have working knowledge of HR laws, policies/procedures and employee relations experience and payroll.
Education and/or Experience: Business office Manager must have a minimum of 1 (one) year in bookkeeping or accounting practices; experience in health care accounting preferred but not required. HR Generalist bachelor’s degree in Human Resources; PHR/SPRH and/or SHRM -CP or SHRM-SCP preferred. Six (6) years in a human resource role. Knowledge of current employment laws, theories and contemporary practices in all areas of human resources.

Transportation Driver
Summary: this is a full-time position with the FSST LTC Facility. The position will provide transportation for residents to appointment, clinics, hospital and other appointments and activities that may be scheduled. Assist the Director of Nursing and the Nursing Home Administrator in planning, organizing and developing the facilities’ transportation program and implementation. Use wheelchair lift when needed. Pick-up and deliver supplies as needed, etc.
Education and/or experience: high school diploma required or GED. Previous driving experience preferred.


Qualifications:
• Must submit and pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing

• Must submit to background investigation in accordance with Public Law 101-630, Title IV, Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act of 1990.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean MVR
• Ability to work with wheelchairs and assistive devices
• Willing to get CPR certified
• Must be able to lift over 50 lbs. and know the proper technique for lifting patients.
