TEAM D RIDERS PREPARE FOR LORETTA LYNN’S The 2013 Red Bull AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship is the world’s largest and most prestigious amateur motocross racing program, and it culminates on July 29 through August 3 at the Loretta Lynn Ranch in Hurricane Mills, TN. This is the 32nd year the championship finals have taken place at Loretta’s. The national amateur qualifying program consists of 50 Area Qualifiers from February through May, and 12 Regional Championships that take place in June at select motocross facilities across the country. The qualifying system culminates in the National Final hosted annually since 1982 at the home of country music star Loretta Lynn. Nearly 20,000 racers attempt to qualify in 36 classes for the 1,446 available positions at the National. Christened “The World’s Greatest Motocross Vacation,” Loretta’s has served as a launch pad for some of the biggest names in professional Motocross and Supercross, including Ricky Carmichael, James Stewart, Ryan Villopoto, Ryan Dungey, Justin Barcia, Eli Tomac, Blake Baggett and many more. This year—for the seventh consecutive season—Team Dunlop riders have been on the qualifying path to Loretta’s. Here’s where they stand:
