Acoustic Alchemy Three time Grammy® nominated artists Acoustic Alchemy are fast approaching their 30th anniversary of recording 1987’s debut album Red Dust and Spanish Lace. The ever evolving force in contemporary jazz, Acoustic Alchemy’s mission has always been to reach the broadest possible audience by pushing the potential of instrumental music.

Matt Andersen With over 10 million views on YouTube, a European Blues Award, A Juno Award nomination, and winning Best Solo Performer at the Memphis Blues Challenge, it’s clear that the entire world is now discovering Matt Andersen. A powerhouse performer with a giant soulfilled voice and commanding stage presence, Matt has toured with Buddy Guy, Beth Hart, Greg Allman, Jonny Lang and others to rave reviews.

Antibalas Born in Brooklyn in 1997, Antibalas is credited with introducing Afrobeat to a wider global audience, influencing countless musicians and a legendary live show. Antibalas have performed everywhere from Central Park to Carnegie Hall. On the heels of the hit musical FELA!, which several members collaborated on, Antibalas reunited with former member/producer Gabe Roth, to release the band’s latest album on Daptone Records.

Behind The Lens Behind The Lens is a live show presented by the artists themselves as they share their amazing stories and iconic images with audiences. Photographers show slides of their greatest rock photos followed by a Q&A at the end.

William Bell William Bell helped write the book on modern soul classics, contributing the first #1 hit for Stax Records in 1961 and co-writing one of the most covered blues standards ever, Born Under A Bad Sign. William performs classics from the golden age of soul and blues, plus new material from his acclaimed 2016 album This Is Where I Live. “A triumph…” – NPR


The Blind Boys of Alabama Described as ‘James Brown does gospel’, The Blind Boys of Alabama are recognized worldwide as true living legends of Gospel music. Celebrated by both The Grammy® Foundation and The National Endowment for the Arts with Lifetime Achievement Awards, inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame, and winners of five Grammy® Awards, they have attained the highest levels of recognition.

Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaires Charles Bradley made a name for himself as a riveting and emotional live performer. He has taken his show to venues and festivals across the globe including New Orleans Jazz & Heritage, Coachella, Glastonbury and Primavera Sound. The Brooklyn-based 67-year old released his third album Changes on April 1 via Daptone Records, which Rolling Stone calls one of the “Most Anticipated Albums of 2016.”

The Celtic Tenors The Celtic Tenors have established themselves as the most successful classical crossover artists ever to emerge from Ireland. In 2000, following an impromptu audition at EMI in London, the Celtic Tenors were signed on the spot to an international record deal, a highly unusual event that was the talk of the music industry.

Disney’s Choo-Choo Soul “With Genevieve!” Disney’s Choo Choo Soul has been entertaining families from coast to coast for the last dozen years. The show is chock full of one familiar Disney tune after another. Fronted by spirited Genevieve Goings (host of her own show on Radio Disney) along with her beat boxing, breakdancing sidekick D.C., Choo Choo Soul keeps the production simple and the energy high.

Cymande Cymande (See-mandy) is a British funk group that released several albums in the 1970s and reunited at Central Park Summer Stage and Bonnaroo to great acclaim in the US this summer. A new album is planned for release in 2017 with Influences ranging from calypso rhythms, jazz, African music, American soul and UK rock. They are perfect for your world music programming.

Jesse Cook Jesse Cook first came to the attention of the world stage as a purveyor of “nuevo-flamenco”, rumba and jazz styles with the release of his 1995 album, Gravity. With his international band Jesse has continued to broaden and shape that sound into its own unique take on percussive, string driven, world music. Jesse will release a new recording in April, 2017.

Shemekia Copeland Whether she’s belting out a raucous blues-rocker, firing up a blistering soul-shouter or digging deep down into a subtle, country-tinged ballad, Shemekia sounds like no one else. With a voice that is alternately sultry, assertive and roaring, her wide-open vision of contemporary blues, roots and soul music showcases the evolution of a passionate artist with a modern musical and lyrical approach.

Dirty Dozen Brass Band The Dirty Dozen Brass Band celebrate their 40th Anniversary next season by doing what they do best; mix the high-stepping traditions of traditional New Orleans jazz and stir in some modern musical ingredients like funk, soul & R&B. “The DDBB continues to be a national treasure. Steeped in both the past and the present…and mighty funky.” The New York Times


Alan Doyle & The Beautiful Gypsies The recently released, So Let’s Go, cements Alan’s reputation as one of our most treasured musicians and storytellers. Alan’s live show continues in the tradition of what he began with Great Big Sea, a celebration of camaraderie and songs - new and old. “I always want people to have the greatest night of their life when the house lights go down.”

Elephant Revival After ten years together, the Nederland, CO based band reached one of their long-term goals of selling out Red Rocks in 2016. Elephant Revival’s music maintains its roots in American and Celtic song craft. On Petals, their most recent album, they achieve a compositional maturity that in moments can evoke the modern classical ensemble. Their profile and presence continues to grow internationally.

Joe Ely A true pioneer of the Americana sound, Ely’s boundaryblurring blend of rock, country, blues and folk might most accurately be described as “Texas roadhouse.” Over his four-decade career, Ely has garnered welldeserved accolades including a Grammy® Award, a CMA Award, the Americana Music Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award for Performance and named a Texas State Artist for 2015 & 2016.

Alejandro Escovedo There are songwriters who sing their songs, and then there are songs who sing their writers. Alejandro is one with his muse and his music. Over a lifetime spent traversing the bridge between words and melody, he has ranged over an emotional depth that embraces all forms of genre and presentation.

Experience Hendrix Celebrate the music of Jimi Hendrix in this all-star line up produced by the JH Estate. It features some of the most accomplished touring artists of today performing the rock icon’s legacy during an unforgettable set of artist collaboration and never before seen images from the family’s personal archives.


Fourplay Grammy® -nominated supergroup Fourplay has enjoyed consistent artistic and commercial success by grafting elements of R&B and pop to their unwavering jazz foundations. In a span of over 25 years and 13 albums, the quartet has continued to explore the infinite possibilities of jazz, while appealing to an expansive audience base.

Bill Frisell The Wall Street Journal says revered guitarist, composer and Grammy® winner (and 2016 Grammy® nominee, Best Contemporary Instrumental Album) Bill Frisell is “the most innovative and influential jazz guitarist of the past 25 years.” The New York Times proclaims “it’s hard to find a more fruitful meditation on American music than in the compositions of guitarist Bill Frisell.”

Girls Guns & Glory Described by Rolling Stone Country as “modernday Buddy Holly plus Dwight Yoakam divided by the Mavericks,” the Boston-based quartet will be hitting the road in support of their first studio release since 2014. Girls Guns And Glory have shared the stage with Montgomery Gentry, Dale Watson, Los Lobos, and many others. Their annual Hank Williams tribute tour is a can’t miss event.

Dave Grusin Academy Award and 10 time Grammy® Award winning songwriter Dave Grusin has made a name for himself as one of the premier movie music writers of the past 30 years.

Buddy Guy At age 80, Buddy Guy is a Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame inductee, Seven-time Grammy® award winner, Kennedy Center Honoree, Presidential National Medal of Arts recipient, a major influence on rock titans like Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and Stevie Ray Vaughan, a pioneer of Chicago’s fabled West Side sound, and a living link to the city’s halcyon of electric blues.


Amy Helm Amy Helm has won widespread praise as a singer, songwriter and live performer. Celebrated for her work with alt-country collective Ollabelle, and for her extensive work with her father – late musical icon Levon Helm - her commanding and deeply expressive voice and uncanny songwriting skill instinctively draws upon a deep well of American musical traditions.

The James Hunter Six James Hunter’s fourth album Hold On! was released this year on Daptone Records. After a four star review and being dubbed “the UK’s greatest soul singer” by Mojo Magazine, Hunter proves that he has learned from his influences, rather than simply imitated them.

Bob James The career of Bob James is long, varied, and continues to evolve at every turn. From being discovered by Quincy Jones at the Notre Dame Jazz Festival in 1963, to winning two Grammys®, his music has captivated audiences throughout the world.

Jonny Lang At the age of 16, Jonny Lang found incredible success with the release of his major debut album Lie To Me. Fame does not seem to have impacted him from being the same country farm boy from Fargo, ND, who got his start in the local clubs of Minneapolis. For Lang, with the release of Fight For My Soul, he is entering a chapter wherein he has found his true voice.

Los Lobos Multiple Grammy® Award–winning American rock band influenced by rock and roll, Tex-Mex, country, folk, R&B, blues, brown-eyed soul, and traditional music such as cumbia, boleros and norteños. Their version of Ritchie Valens’s “La Bamba” gained them international stardom, topping charts around the world. In 2015 they were nominated for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.


Los Lonely Boys The sibling trio from Texas play “Texican Rock N’ Roll,” combining elements of rock, Texas blues, brown-eyed soul, country and Tejano. The group’s first single “Heaven” reached No. 1 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart and earned them a Grammy®.

Mandolin Orange Mandolin Orange have steadily picked up speed and fans from long stretches on the road, including appearances at Newport Folk Festival, Austin City Limits Fest, and Telluride Bluegrass. It’s been an auspicious journey for a pair who casually met at a bluegrass jam session in 2009. Their new album, Blindfaller, will be released via Yep Roc on Sept 30th, 2016.

Manhattan Transfer Since forming in 1972, The Manhattan Transfer remain one of the most popular vocal groups in music, amassing an incredible 10 Grammy® wins and 20 nominations. In 2017, they will celebrate their 45th anniversary with a new album and an extensive tour that will feature all new material plus fan favorites from their remarkable catalogue.

John Mayall For over 50 years, John Mayall has served as a pioneer of blues music, rightly earning him the title “The Godfather of British Blues”. In 2016, he was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame after shaping and influencing some of the most famous blues and rock artists of all time.

Nellie McKay Nellie McKay is a remarkably talented pianist, uke player and singer/songwriter, bringing an unlikely combination of influences to her work. She is impossible to categorize. She is smarter and funnier than most of us, (yes, even you), but she also knows how to laugh at the world even when she’s complaining about how screwed up it. Available solo or with band.


Lucia Micarelli An astounding American violinist and actress best known for her collaborations with Chris Botti, Josh Groban and Jethro Tull, as well as her portrayal of Annie Talarico in HBO’s critically acclaimed series Treme. “…dazzling skills with a Mona Lisa smile” - The Washington Post.

Anais Mitchell Anais Mitchell’s stage production of her folk opera concept record Hadestown, which was ten years in the making, opened Off-Broadway in May 2016 to rave reviews. The New York Times called it “inventive, beguiling and spellbinding” while Vogue announced that “Hadestown will be your new theater obsession”. The show was extended twice as a result of critical success and sell-out performances.

KEB’ MO’

Keb’ Mo’/Taj Mahal Band 2017 brings one of the most anticipated collaborations of the year with the Keb Mo/Taj Mahal Band. Both artists will share one band and perform together in a very unique and exclusive tour to support their first ever studio release, due in Spring of 2017.

Charlie Musselwhite One of blues music’s most important artists, Grammy® winner, and a Blues Hall of Fame inductee. “Superb, original and compelling…harmonica master Musselwhite sets the standard for blues.” - Rolling Stone

Aaron Neville Over the past five decades, Aaron Neville has captured that hometown spirit, first as part of the dynastic Neville Brothers, then on his own soulful and esteemed solo career. From the ground-breaking soul anthems of the 60’s (Tell It Like It Is) to the percolating funk of the 70’s (Hercules) and the soaring balladry of the end of the millennium (Don’t Know Much) Neville continues to capture this essence and spirit through his adventurous solo work. He released his new record Apache, produced by Soulive’s Eric Krasno, in 2016.


Ana Popovic One of the hardest working musicians in the industry, Popovic just released Trilogy, her three disc masterpiece. The album features 23 blues, funk, and jazz tunes with guest appearances from Joe Bonamassa and Robert Randolph. With each disc displaying a different genre, Popovic proves she is at the top of her game.

The Rides: Stephen Stills, Kenny Wayne Shepherd & Barry Goldberg This blues supergroup and multi-generational trio’s May 2016 Pierced Arrow CD debuted at #1 on the Billboard Blues Chart. Stephen Stills is a two-time Rock & Roll Hall of Famer (Buffalo Springfield; Crosby, Stills & Nash), Kenny Wayne Shepherd is a five time Grammy® nominated solo artist and Barry Goldberg is a Chicago rock/blues keyboard legend. Stills calls the group “the blues band of my dreams”.

Lee Ritenour Dubbed “Captain Fingers” for demonstrating incredible dexterity, Lee Ritenour has maintained a delicate balance between the individual creative vision and the group dynamic. Since his early recordings in the 1970s, Lee has earned a Grammy® Award (along with 19 nominations), numerous #1 spots on guitar polls and Lifetime Achievement Awards.

Dirty Talk with Mike Rowe After 300 dirty jobs and 10 years of grime, slime, and overtime, Mike Rowe is coming clean. From QVC to the events that led him to the filthiest nooks and crannies of our nation, Mike reveals the dirty truth behind the dirtiest show on TV. Mike’s live show is an evening of unforgettable stories so bizarre they have to be true.

Diane Schuur Long regarded as one of Contemporary Jazz’s leading vocalists, Diane Schuur’s career spans three decades, including two Grammy® Awards and three additional Grammy® nominations. Schuur inspires rave reviews across the globe while continuing to explore almost every corner of the 20th century musical landscape.


Southern Soul Assembly An evening of southern songwriters in the round featuring JJ Grey, Anders Osborne, Marc Broussard and Luther Dickinson. Each performance takes you into the individual’s process of songwriting and motivation behind their music.

Spyro Gyra Spyro Gyra is a jazz juggernaut who have released 29 albums over a span of 40 years. Throughout their illustrious career, they have performed over five thousand shows to worldwide audiences.

Mavis Staples 2016 Kennedy Center Honoree, 2016 Grammy® Winner, 2016 Summer Tour with Bob Dylan, 2016 HBO documentary film, 2016 CD Livin’ On A High Note, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, Grammy® Lifetime Achievement Award winner, National Heritage Fellowship Award recipient, “one of the greatest women of rock & roll” (VH-1) and “one of the 100 greatest singers of all-time” (Rolling Stone).

Quinn Sullivan 17-year-old Quinn Sullivan is quickly gaining quite a reputation among today’s most respected guitar players and musical artists. He has been touring the world with his mentor and friend, Buddy Guy, and will continue to tour in 2017 in support of his recent album release Midnight Highway.

Tuck & Patti For 36 years this unique, genre-crossing vocal/guitar jazz duo has cast its passionate musical spell worldwide, capturing the hearts of lovers, the respect of jazz buffs, and the jaw-dropping awe of guitarists and singers.


Jimmie Vaughan As a founding member of the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Jimmie Vaughan has been one of the leading Texas guitarists since the late ‘70s and early ‘80s. From the Grammy® Award for Best Contemporary Blues Recording on Family Style with brother, Stevie Ray Vaughan, to the Tilt-A-Whirl Band with Lou Ann Barton, Vaughan provides a vital link between contemporary music and his style of Texas Blues.

Liz Vice Drawing comparisons to legends like Aretha Franklin, Liz’s debut CD There’s A Light landed on Billboard’s R&B, Gospel and Christian/Gospel charts and led The New York Times to proclaim “the connection between gospel and 60s soul is reaffirmed,” while NPR raved “her surprising debut album seemingly came out of nowhere with a satisfying sound that pulls from Motown roots and offers a hopeful message.”

The Wailers Focusing on problems of poverty and separation, The Wailers aim to provide solutions and ultimately to promote peace and unity across all cultures. Fans sing along to the wise words of Bob Marley and resonate with these timeless reggae rhythms that fuel broad-based interest in the message and the music.

Marc Cohn is celebrating the 25th anniversary of his platinum-selling debut record with a series of very special concerts. Joined by special guest vocalists, The Blind Boys Of Alabama, Marc will be performing his Grammy® winning record in its entirety, featuring photographs and video from Marc's personal archives.
