who was recognized by Wake Forest University at the Broward Center for Performing Arts, for living the University’s motto of Pro Humanitate (for humanity). John recently completed his service as the pastor of discipleship at First Baptist Fort Lauderdale, a church that welcomes people from more than 70 nations. In his role within this global community, he helped people make genuine connections with one another and their surrounding area. In February 2015, he set out to launch a new church in downtown Fort Lauderdale with the goal of redefining the church experience.
