Montagne Alternative welcomes you to our centuries-old barns, transformed into stylish modern accommodation, preserving the traditional village heritage in the little hamlet of Commeire in Switzerland’s Valais region. All open out onto the magnificent Entremont valley, the Mont-Vélan and the Mont-Blanc range. The functional common areas and the rooms with private bathrooms provide total comfort for teams of up to 60 people in double rooms or 30 in singles.

Indulge yourself at the Arpalle Restaurant, with taste-inspiring dishes, concocted according to the season and based on produce from the region as well as from our own garden. We also look forward to welcoming you to our Carnotzet for PDO raclette cheese evenings. In addition to this, we also offer a number of services such as catering, shopping, barbecue organisation, drinks events, etc. The Arpalle Restaurant is open every day for clients staying at the hotel and from Wednesday to Sunday for outside customers.
Commeire’s exceptional position has made it a sought-after location for organising various activities and workshops directly at Montagne Alternative throughout the year: hikes through high and medium mountain areas, cooking courses, yoga, wine tasting, massage, getting to know our native aromatic and medicinal plants, paragliding, climbing, mountain biking, snowshoe trails, deer belling and a range of other custom-designed activities designed to make your stay unforgettable. The Pays du St-Bernard and Verbier region also offer a multitude of ideas for excursions: the ski areas of ChampexLac, La Fouly, Vichères-Liddes, Verbier 4 Vallées, cross country ski runs, bob sledding, St-Bernard Hospice and dogs, pastureland dairies, fishing, cow fighting, Alpine gardens, bike park, etc.
