These changes, emphasized by structural construction of the trunk, the growth of grain and bark cracks imitate generational change and the process of shaping what is new on roots perhaps small in scale but big in meaning to the original - pieces of 1000 year old wood from the Poznan’s Cathedral Island. Theme treated realistically has to give in the most accurate vision of the author, not only through the „skeleton” of modernity permeating from the outside ancient history, but also vice versa - through the image of „powerless” nature, who cannot resist the development of technology and human influences, and the passage of time, which allows these metamorphoses to exist. The whole is maintained in the mood provocatively ambivalent, on the one hand, identifying changes and progress, on the other unlawful encroachment of man in nature. „Soak” the two core themes and interplay of „inside-outside” and the appearance of the bark and trunk inside that scream that arises from ashes or embers work - all it takes to wake the recipient a note of anxiety and thus, remain in character transcendental relation to its surroundings.

My education enabled me to see architectural world from a considerate point. I am very interested in service facilities and recreation design, restoration and adapting historical structures as a ‘new-spirit’ buildings. Exploring low-tech solutions, especially clay and straw-bale construction methods is one of my recent interests. I wish to deepen my knowledge in these areas in the future.
