White Eagle Entertainment installed SLA & Amate Audio to execute a sound and lighting design that is out of this world.
Located in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex business district, Illuminati is AGA Hospitality’s newest venture. A restaurant by day and a bar at night, White Eagle Entertainment used SLA and Amate Audio to design and execute the lighting and sound system along with Mumbai-based interior design firm, Design Worx. Just like the interiors, the lighting draws its inspiration from the triangle, which has been painstakingly and intricately custom designed to illuminate both sides of the space in order to create an illusion of infinity and space. Most of the lighting fixtures have been customised to the unique
requirements of the space and had to meet the design intend. A vertical moving light truss and rotating truss have been juxtaposed to create multiple effects when the space needs to transform into the bar, the movement also helps camouflage the technical lights when the space needs switching back into restaurant mode. The sound system had been challenged due to large reflective surfaces of mirrors and glass across the space. These were addressed by using facets and some innovative sound dispersion techniques.
