CELEBRATING EXCELLENCE AWARDS 2022
NOTE FROM THE DEAN
While the past two years have been turbulent and unprecedented, we now move on optimistically – and there is no better showcase than Monash Business School’s Celebrating Excellence Awards. We are justly proud of the talent and achievement of our students, alumni, academic community, educators and professional staff. I am particularly delighted to announce the recipients of two important award categories: the Monash Business School Alumni Excellence Award and our Future Global Leaders. The Alumni Excellence Award has been awarded to Annie Lim, Vice President of Human Resources at biotherapeutics firm, Hummingbird Bioscience. Ms Lim is an outstanding example of a graduate who is creating a positive impact on the world through her outstanding professional contributions. The Future Global Leaders awards feature two outstanding students whom we believe are well on their way to shaping a better future. Master of Advanced Finance student Shahjadi Anika is our postgraduate recipient, while our undergraduate Future Global Leader is Gabrielle Terliatan. Professor Simon Wilkie
Both encapsulate the spirit of enquiry, academic excellence, sense of adventure and striving for excellence that are the hallmarks of a Monash education. Another important part of the Celebrating Excellence Awards ceremony is publicly acknowledging the recipients of the Monash Business School Dean’s Awards. You can read more about all our award recipients at monash.edu/business/awards. Also in this program are our 2021 Student Course recipients – look for your name there if you are a recipient – as well as our individual Department Unit Awards and the Dean’s Honour List and Commendation List. Congratulations again to all recipients. Your achievements are a big part of why we can proudly claim our status as a globally ranked business school. Professor Simon Wilkie Dean, Faculty of Business and Economics Head, Monash Business School
