Live musical performances have been in uniquely short supply over the past 14 months. That is why we at the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra are more than usually excited about our Hilton Head Piano Competition’s BravoPiano! ...A Festival Celebrating the Music of the Americas. Ten memorable performances over nine days in both intimate and grand venues on Hilton Head Island and in Bluffton should be the perfect cure for our culture-starved patrons. This Festival is unique and exciting because of its focus on music exclusively created in the Western Hemisphere. Audiences will delight in both familiar and lesser-known compositions and in experiencing the breadth of great music that we have created. We are so happy to present former competitors as well as new stars from the classical, jazz, and local folk genres to share their talent and perspectives.
