Painting Open Studio
This Open Studio format is designed for painters with some experience, who would like to share their love of this art with others. The Open Studio allows painters to set up a workspace, ask for suggestions/share techniques and critique works while creating wonderful paintings. Painters must bring their own supplies. The room provides plenty of workspace and light. There are table easels and a few standing easels. Come when you can, leave when you must!

The City of Waukesha has recently launched a new website, designed by our guest. He will assist you to gain an improved understanding of the format of the website, and more importantly, he will help you to more efficiently and effectively maneuver through that new website. Please bring your laptop, iPads/tablets, smart phones, and “techie” equipment to this “hands-on” conversation.
October 19 – THE BIG READ – The Cold Millions
The Washington Post has described The Cold Millions as “a work of irresistible characters (some based on historic reality), harrowing adventures and rip-roaring fun . . .” The Civic Theater Senior Players invite you to participate in some of that rip-roaring fun . . . Meet some local vaudevillian comics and “let us entertain you!” Bring your lunch, a friend, your funny bone, and plan to smile loudly, at some good ole’ kneeslapping humor. Desserts and beverages will be served.
November 16 – DAN DUCHNIAK – City of Waukesha Water Utility
For the last 20+ years, Dan Duchniak has been the “go-to-man” when it comes to wonderful Waukesha water. Today Mr. Duchniak will present the BIG PICTURE of the water issue including: the background of the project (why is water an issue?), the selection of Milwaukee as the “source city”, the construction costs, and the final transition to the new water supply.
December 21 – SANTA CLAUS is coming to town!
Meet the jolly elf when he visits with the 4-year old Foxtalers at the Schuetze Recreation Center. Bring your lunch . . . and a friend. Jingle your bells and join in the holiday fun which will add to your seasonal memories. A great intergenerational activity. See you there! HO, ho, ho!!!! Dartball
Dartball is a game in which darts are thrown at a large board that resembles a baseball field that uses baseball-like rules and scoring. Dartball is an exciting way to meet new people, while learning a new game. No experience is necessary. Everyone is welcome!
