Hunt for owners who abandoned two dogs

An investigation is trying to find out who left two dogs tied to a post in a lay-by on the North Devon Link Road near South Molton.

They were found and taken to safety on Tuesday, October 29th. Both are female - one adult boxer type and one ‘staffie’ puppy (pictured right).

North Devon Council’s Dog Warden team say that both are microchipped, but the details are out of date. A spokesman said, “Our investigation into who left them there is ongoing, and we remain committed to holding those responsible accountable.”
