Local businesses and craft makers are being invited to get involved in a new charity fair due to take place at North Molton Sports Club on August 22nd.

The North Molton Country Fair is raising funds for the Over and Above Hospital Charity, and is being organised by Kate Tearall who is the Community Champion at Tesco Extra in Barnstaple.

“After the last 18 months I think now more than ever we need traditional, family focused events that offer something for everyone,” Kate told Molton Monthly. “Charities have found it increasingly difficult to fundraise, and local businesses have had it hard too. We hope it will help to support everyone, with the added bonus that all proceeds are going to charity!”

Entry will be free, although there will be donations boxes around the site. If you’d like a stall they start at £20 for a 3m x 3m pitch. To book one please email Kate as soon as possible for a registration form: kateoto@yahoo.co.uk

Covid Secure measures will be in place, depending on the Government restrictions at the time. The organisers say they’re hoping for a fantastic day out for all the family, jam packed with local entertainment, delicious food and some of North Devon’s finest local businesses.
