Polymicro Technologies' TSU series is a Deep-UV transparent capillary tubing product line. This tubing is made with a Teflon AF Fluoro-polymer external coating giving it a number of unique characteristics. The TSU capillary series was designed specifically to give the user added value by employing a low refractive index, Deep-UV transparent coating. The transmission of this unique coating at 214nm is typically greater than 90%. These transmission characteristics make this tubing an excellent choice for photo-initiated, monolithic LC columns. Further, fluorescence detection within the capillary is routinely practiced due to the ultra-low background fluorescence of the coating. The hydrophobic nature of the Fluoro-polymer is particularly useful in spotting and nebulization applications. As with all Polymicro capillary products, it can be used across a broad range of applications and markets.
