• Tata Dhan in the targeted states, to conduct the impact assessment in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Karnataka,

Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Orissa and Tamil Nadu. • The people of Ekal abhiyan deeply committed to the cause, not interested in name, fame or prestige that their rolls will bring. • Teachers teaching different subjects: varied from 51% to 76% • Subjects taught: Yoga, games, moral & value education, science and social awareness. • Ekal Movement got initiated in the district with almost higher share of deprived population. • Ekal Movement was intended to enter into the areas which were not only socio-economically backward, but also geographically isolated. • Ekal teachers gave priority for imparting moral and value education. • Essentially, Ekal is doing a great job on functional education. • There are positive changes observed in children going to Ekal
