Ekal Vidyalaya is a mission to provide informal education in rural and tribal areas. The Ekal Vidyalaya is one village, one teacher, one school. The curriculum of education imparted in Ekal Vidyalaya covers basic education, health education, ethics and value education, rural development education, empowerment education. The teachers of Ekal Vidyalaya are from same village and are being trained under three tier system. In those villages where Ekal Vidyalayas have its imprints, the lives of children have improved considerably than ever before and the parents of these children are also interested in teaching their children in Ekal Vidyalaya.

Ekal Vidyalaya is a non - profitable organisation which helps to develop rural areas and tribal villages of India via spreading awareness and educating people. In addition, it is a non-governmental organisation (NGO).

Ekal Vidyalaya is a platform where we provide primary education to children in remote places. The classes take place under a tree or in a hut and the education is provided through informal means like story - telling, folk dramas, folk songs etc. The education provided is vast and includes social skills like manners and good habits and also other skills like sports, singing, public speaking (reciting) and dancing to name a few. It is a friendly - environment where one teacher governs the whole school. Moreover, via Ekal Vidyalaya one not only reaches younger kids, but also adults who are unaware of some social skills and hazards. They are informed about the cures of some problems and the harmful and deadly effects of consuming drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, tobacco etc.

To conclude, Ekal Vidyalaya is a non - profitable and non - governmental organisation which helps to develop the standards of the rural and tribal villages of India. It is able to do so by educating moral values and primary education to the uneducated. One can help this wonderful cum caring organisation by donating funds which is an effective and better way of praying. n
