When faced by social and cultural practices that disempower and hinder us from leading happy and fulfilled lives, most people feel overwhelmed and incapacitated. However, many decide to act and counter these social, cultural or even natural hindrances and problems. They transform themselves and those around them by taking a stand for what is good and important. They strive to stay positive and survive against the odds.
