• Direct entry into the BScN Degree Program. • Students receive 30 units of advanced credit and enter $4,000-6,000 at Level II. The two Level II core nursing courses are designed to assist students in transitioning to the baccalaureate program. • Curriculum is planned for three years of full-time study. Students are allowed six years after the first ‘nursing’ course to complete the program requirements. • This is a collaborative program of McMaster University, Mohawk College and Conestoga College. Students choose to attend one of the three sites and graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree from McMaster University. • Curriculum is unique in that it emphasizes person-centered learning within a problembased approach, uses tutorial classes and facilitates selfdirected learning

Admission requirements • Submit proof of a current CNO annual registration payment or proof of eligibility to write in May or June, 2019 and subsequently pass the Practical Nurse Registration examination by the deadline of March 30, 2019 FIND A NURSE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE

• All educational documents, $4,000-6,000 and $6,001-8,000 diplomas, proof of CNO $8,001+ • must be submitted to OCAS by March 30, 2019 • Note: University degree credit $4,000-6,000 $6,001-8,000 courses completed prior to $8,001+ admission will be assessed. • CASPer™ Test (ComputerBased Assessment for Sampling Personal Characteristics) • All applicants to the Diploma RPN to BScN Degree program, at Mohawk College are required to complete a mandatory online 90 minute computer-based test (CASPer™), to assist with our selection process. Successful completion of CASPer™ is mandatory in order to maintain admission eligibility. CASPer™ assesses for non-cognitive skills and interpersonal characteristics we believe are important for successful students and graduates of our program and will complement our other applicant screening tools. In implementing CASPer™, we are trying to further enhance fairness and objectivity in our selection process. • Proof of English proficiency for applicants where English is not their first language must be submitted to Ontario Colleges

• Submit proof of a diploma in Practical Nursing (two-year program) from an Ontario College of Applied Arts and Technology or equivalent, with a minimum overall average of 75% or higher
