Step 1. Prepare the Stripboard Figure 10-4 shows the stripboard layout for the door lock.
Figure 10-4 The stripboard layout Cut the board to the right size. The neatest way to do this is to score the board heavily with a craft knife and then break it over the edge of a table. You can also use a strong pair of scissors, but the result will not be as neat. The prepared stripboard is shown in Figure 10-5.
