(e) No certificate holder may use the services of any person as a pilot on an aircraft engaged in operations under this part if that person has reached his or her 60th birthday. No person may serve as a pilot on an aircraft engaged in operations under this part if that person has reached his or her 60th birthday. (f) In the case of operations with more than one pilot, no certificate holder may use the services of any person as a pilot on an aircraft engaged in operations under this part and no person may serve as a pilot on an aircraft engaged in operations under this part if that person has reached his or her 65th birthday. (g) Airmen who have reached their 65th birthday, may not function as a flight instructors (aircraft), nor may they serve as pilot flight crew members in operations under this part. 135.391

Flight Attendants

No certificate holder shall operate an aircraft with passengers on board, unless at least the number flight attendants as laid down in Section 135.101 of this part are on board. 135.393

Flight Attendant Qualifications

(a) No certificate holder shall assign and no person shall act in the capacity of a flight attendant on an aircraft, unless that person, (1)

is the holder of a flight attendant certificate endorsed for the type of aircraft on which such person is to act,

(2)

has successfully completed the certificate holder’s approved course of training and checking appropriate to that type of aircraft as prescribed in Subpart N of this part, and

(3)

is otherwise qualified in accordance with this Subpart, except,

(4)

in the case of a person performing flight attendant duties pursuant to Subsection (c) of section 135.101.

135.395

Flight Operations Officers

(a) A certificate holder shall provide sufficient flight operations officers to meet the operational control requirements of Subsection 593 (c) of subpart P. (b) FOO required by this Subpart shall normally be stationed at operational bases or airports from which the certificate holder operated originating flights using aircraft with a maximum certified take-off weight (MCTOW), of greater than 12500 pounds, or as prescribed by the Director. 135.397

Flight Operations Officer Qualifications

(a) No certificate holder shall assign and no person shall act as a flight operations officer for the purpose of exercising of operational control over a flight unless such person,
