®Coach: Bernie Barre (19669) dill succeed if Richard Hall runs for more than 2,000 yards again this season, which, barring injury, would seem likely. Wyoming's system has long been geared toward star running backs, but a strong senior finale would leave little doubt Hall was the greatest of them all. He'll get an additional boost with a big offensive line out in front of him, led by all-state candidate Matt Mefford at tackle and tight end Zach Novak. Wyoming ought to have the capability to throw this year, as well, with a capable arm in new quarterback Kyle Lewis and a talented wideout in Chris Carter. ®Will struggle if depth

small-school programs in the area. With only eight returning starters, the Warriors will have to do it with Yyouth if it's to be done this Yyear. Reassuring is the amount of experience taking care of the ball, as Jason Mondy returns for another year at quarterback and is joined in the backfield by. running back Spencer D umm"g, w ho gained more than 1,000 yards a year ago. Defensively,Mariemont hould be led by defsive tackle uric Shaner and linebacker Mike Dever. Kicker Conrad Hindert is another veteran returnee. Will struggle if young players aren't ready for the roles thrust upon them. While Crosby says there is some talent among his underclassmen, this team only has 20 seniors and juniors to draw from, while there are 18 sophomores on the roster.

Deer Park started off 0-3 a year ago, but finished strong and now has a veteran team ready to try and expand on that success. 27) I~ Will succeed if a talented junior class can put behind some of the inconsistency that plagued the team last year. Finneytown was 3-0 at one point, but struggled to hold it together after that. "I looked out at one point and we had two kids out there with driver's licences," he remembers. But measured in talent, Amodio is optimistic about this year. Junior running back Jason Heard is one of the CHL's best,

rushing for 1,190 yards last season, while quarterback Jason Gardner threw for 12 touchdowns and more than 1,000 yards. Senior Kevin Tuepker is an anchor as a two-way starter in the backfields, while the same can be said for Brian Jemison on the offensive and defensive lines. Shaun Howard and Vince Moore bring even more experience to the lines, while Amodio likes the look of his linebacking pairing of Mike Chenault and Eric Ogletree. ® Will struggi® if line

Coach: Kevin Murphy (0-0) ' D'Will succeed if a host of sophomores who are being counted on to produce perform up to varsity standards right away. Murphy, Taylor's offensive coordinator the last two years, likes his team's enthusiasm, but. is unsure of their experience. Quarterback Mike Voynovich, himself'a sophomore starter a year ago, returns to run Taylor's option offense. He'll have a pair of sophomores behind him in speedy Ryan Clemens and steady Brad Liggett. Three linemen, led by guard Pat Schmalle, and honorable-mention allleague tight end Dusty Goetz are also back. On defense, Schmalle and Goetz are leaders from their linebacker positions. Taylor has also gotten unexpected help along the defensive line from a couple

of players who are new to football this year. SCHEDULE ® Will struggle if youth is All times 7:30 p.m. unless noted Date Opponent not served.
