Introducing the CH_100 Series Design with a history Hans J. Wegner designed the CH_100 series in the early 1970s as a complete concept for both the contract market and private homes. After the 1970s, the furniture was not produced again until the Hans J. Wegner Studio chose Carl Hansen & Son to relaunch the series on the occasion of Carl Hansen & Son’s 100th anniversary in 2008. Design with a passion The CH_100 series is an excellent expression of Hans J. Wegner’s design principles: outstanding comfort, strong yet elegant construction, only the finest materials – and the lasting beauty that comes from intelligent integration of form and function.

Designed to last All pieces in the series are hand-made according to Wegner’s original 1:1 drawings.

CH_100 frames are formed from premium quality stainless steel that is hand polished to a silky finish for generations of care-free use.

The chairs and sofas are hand-built on internal frames of Danish beech for strength and flexibility, and then upholstered in the customer’s choice of the finest leathers or fabrics.

The series comprises sofas, chairs and tables that feature the same stainless steel frames and stylish lines. While the individual pieces form a harmonious whole, their understated elegance enables them to stand sculpturally on their own or to blend in well with other fine furniture.
