pring is finally upon us! Why is it so exciting to pack away winter boots and coats in exchange for a wardrobe of sandals and sweaters? I just love this season! With spring's warmer and longer days, flowers are poking their heads up, the cherry blossoms are almost in bloom, and my Wirehaired Dachshund Penny is again enthusiastic about our walks together. There is nothing I don’t love about this season of rebirth and renewal; spring’s fresh start is so inspiring. With this in mind, we’ve endeavoured to put together a spring issue that matches the season’s feeling of POSSIBILITY. We share the stories of people who, facing life’s challenges, found the spark and gumption to change their outlook and thus circumstances (p52 and 66)—prepare to be inspired!

We also talk to a couple truly living the dream—a job that involves wine and helping rescue dogs (p92.) Where do we sign up? And as usual, we improve your relationship with your dog by presenting action plans for solving problem behaviours (think marking and whining) (p32 and 46) and share our current favourite finds, from budget buys that deliver to the best toys for playtime to beautiful, problem-solving products designed for dog lovers. Wishing you all the best the season has to offer.
