Shear Madness is the interactive comedy whodunit that lets the audience solve the crime! Set in present-day Georgetown, Shear Madness engages locals and visitors alike as armchair detectives to help solve the scissorstabbing murder of a famed concert pianist who lives above the Shear Madness unisex hairstyling salon. The show combines up-to-theminute improvisational humor and a mixture of audience sleuthing to deliver a unique performance each night. With more than 13,000 performances at the Kennedy Center, Shear Madness is the second longest-running play in the history of American Theater (its sister production of Shear Madness in Boston is #1.) Patuxent River Appreciation Days is a festival, which creates awareness, recognition, and promotion of the economic, social, recreational, cultural and historical impact of the tributaries and environs of the Patuxent River and the basin through which it flows. The festival has been held annually on Columbus Day weekend since 1978. The Patuxent River Appreciation Days (PRAD) is a two-day celebration held annually in Solomons, Maryland. Enjoy free boat rides, children’s activities, and live music. Free harbor cruises will be offered on board two historic vessels: the 112-year-old bugeye, Wm. B.
