Snowmobiling Memories Part 3 of a three-part series

The snowmobile community continued to be a part of my life as I got older. Snowmobiling is a winter activity, but the club worked year-round. Every July our city hosted their annual summer festival, and our snowmobile club would gather to have a potluck and watch the vintage car show creep by. Some of the guys would spend a week working to decorate the trail groomer for the parade, and my family would join the club in marching alongside the groomer down main street, watching the kids point and smile as we waded through the hot summer sun.
As someone who grew up riding all winter long, I knew how vital the club was to keep the trails safe and open. Without the cooperation of the club, the landowners, and the city, there would be none of the snowmobiling that had brought
