Sports and Recreation The North Stars Water Ski Show Team seeks disabled veterans who desire to participate in adaptive water skiing during a one-day August event on Big Pine Lake, near Perham. Friendly, trained volunteers will be available to assist. All levels are welcome. A maximum of 15-20 veterans so, if you’re interested, don’t wait too long! This year’s National Veterans Wheelchair Games will take place from July 7th – 12th in Tempe, Arizona! Registration for participation opens February 1st. Medical forms must be included in registration - go to wheelchairgames.org to download them. Claim your spots quickly because attendance for both participants and spectators might be limited!
