ELECTRIC SERVICE REGULATIONS of MINNESOTA POWER Commission will include a copy of the relevant franchise fee ordinance, or other operative document authorizing imposition of the fee. 75. Franchise Fees Customer Notification: The following language will be included with the first customer bills on which a new or amended franchise fee is collected: The Customer’s electric bill includes a franchise fee that is being collected for payment to the City of_________. Under state law and city ordinance, the City of ____________may require Minnesota Power to pay a franchise fee for Minnesota Power’s retail operations within the city limits. City of __________ Ordinance ____ requires Minnesota Power to collect a fee of _____ % or $____ from retail operations within the City. Each Minnesota Power customer in the City will be charged a franchise fee. The Customer’s bill will now include the line item “___________Franchise Fee (_______% or $_____)”. The franchise fees collected will be paid to the City of_____________. The Customer may contact Minnesota Power or the City of ____________for any questions regarding this franchise fee. 76. Regulation and Jurisdiction: Electric service shall be available from Company at the rates and under the terms and conditions set forth in the currently applicable Rate Schedule or other superseding Rate Schedules in effect from time to time. All the rates and regulations referred to herein are subject to amendment and change by Company. Any such amendments or changes may be subject to acceptance or approval by any regulatory body having jurisdiction thereof.
