You’ll use artichokes, pears, fresh-cut flowers, and trailing vines in a footed, dark container. Discover the balance between using fresh cuts and real fruits and vegetables and learn how to freshen your piece, if necessary, before Thanksgiving, and how to extend its life beyond the life of turkey leftovers. Ashley will take you beyond a few fir branches and share her favorite holiday styling tips. She’ll help you create a whimsical wreath on a honeysuckle vine base using materials from the Arboretum and a floral wholesaler, including dark feather-leaf myrtle, tiny spruce cones, aromatic cedar, and more. You will be dazzled by what you create, and the experience will surely put you into the holiday spirit. This wreath will have a florist value of $100 and last through the holidays – the memories even longer.
