This document contains text and maps of the Preliminary Sector Plan and Proposed Sectional Map Amendment for Westphalia. The preliminary plan will amend portions of the 1994 Approved Master Plan and Sectional Map Amendment for Melw ood-Westphalia (Planning Area 77 & 78), and the 2002 Prince George's County Approved General Plan. Developed with the assistance of several stakeholders, this document presents background, recommends a vision, and forwards goals, policies, and strategies pertaining to land use, zoning, environment, parks and recreation, transportation, trails, public facilities, historic preservation, and urban design. The sectional map amendment proposes zoning changes to implement the sector plan's recommendations.
